* warning this could be a long thread*
Hi guys,
I have 2 sons a 2 year old and a 6 month old.We have lived in our home for almost 3 years, and recently I have noticed some weird things going on.
Since I was a young age I have a had a 'special connection' with the other side. From as young as 2 I could see and talk to spirits. Since we have moved in I have had a 'feeling' someone else is here with us. I always put it down to being my grandparents, but over the past few months i have noticed things get a little hyped up.
I will start from the beginning. There is a constant smell of stale cigarette smoke in my son's room. I have mentioned it a couple of times to my partner but he can never smell it. It's a thick musty smell that kind of hits you in the face as you walk in. At first I put it down to it being an old house that had been left empty for some time, but no matter what I patch up (cracks in the cupboard.) or clean in the room with the smell comes back fighting.
When my eldest son was 6 months old I slipped down the stairs with him in my arms. As you come down my stairs you have a small step from the landing down and then the stair case starts. When holding the babies, i always take the first step down pause, to make sure I'm steady and safe before continuing down. The day I slipped, I stepped down as normal, and as i stopped and I heard a voice says to me "your going to fall" and I did. Thankfully because of what I heard I held on tighter to my son.
Between then and now it has been little things, seeing black figures out the corner of my eye, putting things down next to me going back and they had been moved. But I have never felt scared or threatened by it.
On Monday my mum had both my son's over night. As I settled down to go to sleep I could hear someone running around in my son's room. I would have put it down to my 'mummy senses' still being high, but I could hear the loose floor board in my son's room banging as some thing walked over it.
Last night, My eldest son went to bed fell asleep and woke up SCREAMING! I checking the baby monitor and he was still on his bed. But when I watched, it looked as though something kept pulling at his legs and tormenting him.
I went straight up cuddled him and sturnly told whatever it was to leave my children alone.
Today we were playing in room when i was changing the sheets, and I turned to check on my youngest son in his cot.
As I turned back to my eldest son, he came flying off the bed and luckiky landed on the quilt and pillow I already had on the floor. That was the last straw.
I'm essentially asking what I can do to protect my son's aswell as get whatever maybe doing these things out.
I'm not sure if my sturn approach last night, has made things worse but I didn't really know what else to do.
My eldest son has been christened and my youngest is being christened in a couple of months.
I have heard about saging but im not 100% sure what the best way to do it is.
This may just be me being paranoid or worried but I can't ignore the gut feeling I have been getting.
Thanks
