Let me start by giving a brief introduction, my name's Casandra cassie for short I'm from Ohio. I'm 31 & have been intrigued by the paranormal thing's as far back as I can remember.

Here's my story..

Every once in a blue moon I will go spend the weekend at my grandmother's house, I keep in close contact daily by phone. Well when I do spend the weekend's at her house I've been having a rather bizzar experience each time.

It sill start off normal, I get the couch all done up with sheets pillow I'll lay down & get comfortable. When I go to sleep, moments later I'll start getting a very strong sensation as if someone is behind me. I usually sleep with my back facing the door and myself facing against the inside of the couch, it will get stronger the longer I lay like that.

Last night it happpend, my grandmother & her sister had both been asleep. I laid down & got confortable, sure enough moments later I started getting the strong sensation of someone behind me. It got stronger as I laid their.. I distinctly remember having the blanket just over my arm, and I remember moving my hand to pull the blanket up more yet I didn't physically move. It was the strangest feeling ever. I don't know what to labal it, wheather it be just a dream & out of body experience or sleep paralysis. What's everyone's take on this?

I think its a spirit cuddling up to you,I've had this experience myself and a lifetime of spirits, entities.Skeptics always say its sleep paralysis but I think that's a pretty rare occurrence.I never go to sleep now with my back facing the door. Not scared ,but, lol.Welcome to the forum by the way,its a good place for support with these things.

Hello Cassie welcome,

Care to elaborate on this part a little more for me?

Yes hello Cassie - the PNF is a great place to discuss this and other kinds of puzzling occurrences.

As Herbal asked, please try to give us move details regarding that important point.

By the way, I think it is a common occurrence to feel vulnerable - and even “watched” when your back is exposed to any entry point into a room. If you could be physically comfortable facing the other direction on the couch, so that you were looking into the room, you likely would find that you feel less emotionally exposed too.

I was laying their with myself facing the inner part of the couch, I remember pulling the blanket just over my arm. And it felt like I was moving but my body wasn't actually physically moving. And when I did move the blanket wasn't on my arm, it had been pulled down off of it. So having been spooked a little I pull the blanket back up and over my head this time, when I did that that's when it felt like someone was pacing very hard & I could feel the couch vibrating from it. I also opened my eyes looking down & still felt it. Sorry I didn't add much detail I hadn't had a good previous night sleep.

Hi Cassie and welcome.
A few questions if you don’t mind.
Have there been any other odd happenings in this place ? Has your grandma or others had similar expierences there ? Have you had any other events in other locations ?

I would only be guessing but going on what you’ve told us so far, perhaps you were having the start of an out of body. It would explain the feeling of movement without the physical body actually moving. The vibration is common just before exiting the body. I’m thinking you weren’t sleeping soundly in a place away from your own bed and you became conscious as you were going out of body. Just a guess, something to consider.
