Good morning PNF.

Just wanted to share an odd occurrence from this week’s business travel. I mentioned last week that I was anxious going into this week’s business meeting and it ended up being even more stressful in real life than I had planned.

What I experienced on late Tuesday night or very, very early Wednesday morning might not be paranormal - it certainly was not typical.

I got to bed late on Tuesday - I did not check the clock but maybe close to 11PM. I sleep mostly on my stomach and on my side but rarely on my back. When I sleep alone, I usually wrap myself up in the sheets and blankets. Tuesday night was essentially the same - wrapped up like a burrito sleeping on my side.

I don’t think I’d been asleep for too long - but I didn’t check the clock again as sleeping on my side left me facing the wall. I was awaken by what felt like someone punching me once or twice in the side of my body which was exposed facing up. When I awake, I am almost always very cognizant so I froze for a second in order to better perceive what might be happening outside of me. But there was nothing else so I wiggled a little - not necessarily rolling over - and fell immediately back to sleep.

Don’t know how much longer it was but it didn’t seem to be a long time (hard to tell because of being asleep), when the same thing happened again. Won’t burden you all with lots of text but essentially repeat the same response from the prior paragraph. Well the same happened a third time, but this time when I awoke, I seemed slightly paralyzed. I’d like to describe it as sleep paralysis but I don’t think it was the classic symptoms...I was not unable to move...I was unable to get up because it felt like I had the weight of another person laying across my exposed side. It was as if I could move my limbs but I was being weighed down or held down.

This was not at all like the tingling and phantom limb sensations you feel when blood flow to a body part has been restricted. These restricted sensations were in my left arm and leg and the left side of my body but I had been sleeping on my right side. And, these sensations were not caused by the fact that my bedding was too tightly wrapped around me because I felt that I had sufficient room under the covers to move my limbs. This felt like 200 pounds of a person holding me down.

Strangely enough, the prior “punches” had some how desensitized me to believing there was any real threat so for the first time in my life I didn’t just pee in fear. I was composed enough to actually peel back the covers away from my face with my right hand to confirm there was no one lying on top of me. When I recognized that, I immediately fell back to sleep.

I never got out of bed even though I’d felt as if I was touched several times in a short period. This was certainly not a dream. With all of the odd things I’ve experienced in my life, this was a strange new series of sensations for certain.

Thoughts?

Yikes ! What an experience. Did anything happen Monday or Tuesday that left an impression ( positive or negative ) on you ? Something that would cause bad dreams ? Are there any bruises on you from the punches or the weight across your body ?

Great questions 7.

No visible marks.

Monday and Tuesday were very, very stressful. Maybe I internalized that I was being “beaten up” during the daytime meetings and then my subconscious was externalizing that in my sleep.

I was encouraged to share my recent experience after reading (unrelated) post by another new PNF member so wanted to give credit too to new member Entity_magnet1

Ooh. I'm not sure. I've felt as much as fingers running down my arms and legs while sleeping, but that's about it. Interesting story.

I've been thinking about this since you posted. From a medical viewpoint, if you were very, very stressed, it is possible you had muscles that spasmed to give you the feeling of beng punched. Just something to throw in the mix of possibilities here. :)

Thanks Debi for volunteering that info. I had actually written one more closing sentence indicating that those with medical experiences were encouraged to post too. But for some reason I nuked that sentence. Thanks for sharing that possibility.

There was a quality about this experience that I can’t put my finger on. I can’t think of the words to use to try to describe it. All I can think to say at this point is that there was a strangeness to it. I can accept that this was completely mundane - I can accept it just as easily as if it were paranormal. But I wish then that I could understand what weirdness my subconscious was creating.

Well this describes the negative entity others have expierenced. Your discription is very much typical of how they attack and drain energy. I’m hoping this was not the case but it sure sounds like it. You no doubt have a bright light and sleeping in a hotel you are in a space many others before you have occupied. Who knows what may have been drug in there. Or is it possible you were picking up on a previous occupant ? Your so gifted if there was an entity there I’m sure you were spotted right away. I see you as having a very bright light.

I might add your own discription describes it as an attack. Your gut is usually right especially someone as inlightened as you.

How are you feeling now? Oh and I got to hand it to you... because if someone punched me when I was alone I’d have run out screaming like a baby.

I’m in really good shape now that I’m home. Only pains today are in my legs and feet from having my 75 pound hound sleep on me all night long.

I can accept this as a physical manifestation of the week’s physiological stressors as Debi tried to help diagnose.

I also have to accept this could have been paranormal. My lifetime of experiences doesn’t allow me to ignore that.

You are of course right Lynn that a place like a hotel frequented by so many people could be harboring some bad mojo.

One thing that I’ve accepted about large buildings with lots of electrical systems - which includes hotels - is that some of the sensations I encounter are very likely triggered by routine EMFs. I had an instance 20 years ago where I felt two short bouts both agitation and fear combined leaving me to think I was being watched by someone/something. My coworker in the room next to me volunteered (before I said anything) the exact feelings occurring at the exact same times of day. I found that the huge air conditioning units just outside our rooms were kicking in at that time each day. So I choose to accept it was EMF interference.
