not frequently but enough to make me wonder. I have seen earthquakes a day before they happened. I had no idea where it was going to happen. My mom went into the hospital and as I was leaving I saw her in critical condition. a few hours later she was moved to ICU in critical condition and on life support. what is this called?

Premonitions or clairsentience. Some just refer to it as a "knowing', and it often happens to us when something critical is about to happen. It's unknown why, but it does happen. Several theories involve us making a connection to the Divine and being given the knowledge so we can deal with it better, or even that we are picking up on univiersal knowledge in the timeline.

I have clairsentients and have had it my entire lifetime. It can feel a bit unnerving when it happens, but I have always found there is a reason I am receiving the info. It doesn't mean I can change anything, but it does help me be aware of what I can do when it happens.

after mom's icu incident, I told some cousin what I had seen in my minds eye. they told me that kind of thing has happened to them as well.
clairsentients? Now I have a name for it. thank you

Heh. So your cousin has the same gift. Maybe it’s a family thing

Tulip, I also want to state I'm very sorry for the illness with your mom. May all be well for your family.

she's much better now. I have a medical background and know exactly what they did to place her in critical condition. she will never be her old self and neither will I. My advice to anyone with a loved one in a hospital is never leave them alone. I wish I had heeded that vision. at the time I thought my medical experience had made me paranoid. lesson learned.
