So, if the brain is wired differently, can they overcome this trait? Is the soul defective as well, or are these people born soulless as some have said? What say you?

I read this yesterday, and serial killers also all have one thing in common, as young children, they suffered physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, or neglect or abandonment. Did this turn the gene on? I'm hinky about purely biological explainations for serial killers. This research could lead to a revival of eugenics. Just thinking holistically.;)

I do agree with you, Paint. The genetics may be there, but I also believe the soul plays a part in allowing one to overcome the simple genetic code...that free will thing, ya know.

I believe that people are born / inherit certain traits or characteristics or tendencies; that their experiences influence whether these tendencies come to the surface.

Neuroplasticity suggests that perhaps this is the case.

As for soullessness, you have heard my two cents on this matter.
