Call your credit card company and tell them the retailer went out of business..
Now on the other hand.....If anyone believes that someone like Art Bell would verbally and intentionally announce, more than once, the name of the town he lives in, how many and how high his antennae are ... thereby pinpointing exactly, where he lives.....you believe anything.
He probably needed more money, perhaps for a high priced country home in the Philippines, because Manila is a dive of smog, heat that is the same as the hottest steam bath you have ever enjoyed for 5 minutes, and crime and corruption that only a local would believe ..I know as I go there often because my asawa (wife is also filipina), but I have a farm far away from the stink in the country side near the ocean. He is not stupid. Who is going to pay him for a membership if its only going to be a few months...what radio stations will slot a nightly show and rebroadcast his show, even though it is FREE, if its going to disappear soon... The companies that hear their ads are being carried on 2-3 hundred radio stations pay dearly for such unbelievable penetration....but they wouldn't pay nor be thrilled if it is only short term.. How many people prepaid for their subscription or ordered merchandise from his store?
This way, all his commitments to advertisers, his loyal listeners, everyone is cut off as soon as he has pocketed his target cash amount...but don't be mad, he figured out a way so it is not his fault.... they would not even think of suing, he is only saving his family...
No celebrity would be so foolish, NONE, especially after decades of similar trouble.... as to tell people where they live and give them a way to pin point their house so easily....Hey look up anywhere in town, my antennae are the tallest and they mark the spot....... Bell knew better from past experience.
Folks think about that.... this is also an internet show.... he could talk into a microphone from anywhere in the world, with a half decent internet connection... It absolutely does not have to be where he told everyone where he lives.... WOW... he is not a moron... that is so obvious.
Ah, the paranormal, snake oil salesmen on both sides of the microphone... DON'T be so shocked nor surprised.... what do you expect, I am sure he thinks he deserves the money...
