Current experiences on going

So in 2018 these experiences started and have been increasing little by little.
As an amateur paranormal investigator, I know when to tread and when not to.
Since this is happening to myself and my daughter (and a cat)
I am being very observant and documenting as best I can without encouraging increased activity.
In 2018, I moved to the mountains of Pennsylvania, my Grandparents origin.
Keep in mind that I'm empathic and I have hypersensitivity as to the 5 senses (my ears are the worst IMO).
My first apartment, I was living by myself, one bedroom apt.
I was sitting on my couch one evening with 2 friends watching a movie with the lights off, when all of a sudden it was like someone sprayed lilac perfume (my Grandma's favorite flower) directly in my face. So strong that I had to leave the apartment for 20 mins or so.
From then on it continued (not as strong of a smell) off and on. In 2020 I moved further west in PA into a 2 bedroom with my newborn daughter and her Mom. Mom had a cat (extremely cool cat).
The town I moved to was extremely small, most all of the buildings were built in the 1850's.
I lived in one of these buildings on main st. On either end of the town were 2 huge cemetery's rumored to have a lot of paranormal activity.
Almost immediately I noticed unusual things. objects moved or out of place, my daughters electronic toys going off late at night by themselves, the cat...( no cat nip required) omg the cat, he would chase absolutely nothing as if he was hunting prey zipping through every part of the place, then he would disappear and hide for awhile and then do it again lol, climb the curtains etc.... My daughter talking to nothing in her room, the worst was my empathic senses, most of the time not negative, just not good. However when I smelled lilac, I felt at ease. So this goes on for several months. Finally I had to know, so I picked a night when I knew it would be just me at home and did a basic paranormal investigation.
Spirit box, Obvulios device, digital voice recorder, cat ball and a electronic toy that had been going off by itself. Sorry no video, not that I noticed any visual.
The results were interesting, all the recorded audio was sent to a paranormal group in Altoona for verification.
So it would seem that there were many travelers ( just passing thru) then there was Thomas, by is vocabulary he was from northern England/southern Scotland because he kept calling me a nutter lol.
Several others on spirit box asking for help. Cat ball was going off as well as toy cellphone.
The paranormal group confirmed all audio. At the middle of March 2021, things hit the fan with Mom and I. Gyda (my daughter) and I found ourselves in a shelter for families and I got full custody of Gyda. I don't slack, with-in 2 weeks we were in our own place. However during those 2 weeks at the shelter, zero paranormal activity.
So now we live a bit further west of our last lol, still the mountains.
Almost immediately moving in, boom...Lilacs. Sounds off pebbles hitting the living room window (2nd floor apt) knocks, things being moved. My daughters toy cellphone going off as well as other toys, and her binkies disappearing and reappearing. Then when things with the downstairs neighbor started I started to get an additional smell. Sauteed onions, my Grandpa's favorite, extremely strong smelling. Been here many months not smelling that smell.
Both lilac and onion smells, when I smell them without thought, memories of the house I grew up in come into my mind. Also an ease in my anxiety, a calming feeling.
Today, I went to get Gyda from her nap and immediately got hit in the face as I opened the door with the smell of sauteed onions and Gyda sitting in bed talking....

So, you're saying that these things are still going on, since 2018? Wow. Have you tried asking whomever it is to stop the activity? And, have you tried any of the suggestions that Debi has posted here?

Since the current activity is minor at best ATM, and there are no negative impressions on Gyda and I, I see no reason to mess with it. I silently acknowledge the possibility that it's my Grandparents and go about my business. No harm no fowl. When at previous location I did takes measures to remove the negative successfully

Sounds like whatever this or these are, are very much connected directly to you. Being that you moved several times and like clockwork, they re-appear and the activity resumes. I'm with Garnetsilver, ask them to please stop. Words are powerful, even in the Spirit world.

I hesitate simply because no negative things or impressions and IF they are my Grandparents...why chase them away. It's obvious they come and go as they will

Ok, Maybe I misunderstood the direction of your post. I got the impression this was an issue that made you uncomfortable.

If it is indeed your grandparents, you can certainly ask them if there is something that they want to tell you; (keeping in mind that if it isn't them, to proceed with caution, so as not to stir anything up.) I can see that you exercise caution already, so just sharing a possible action.

As much as i would love to say it is your grandparents, i honestly can't. For them to be visiting this often, they did not move on for whatever reason. If they had, i don't believe they would be able to frequent your surroundings. Any time i have had someone close to me or family visit, it was through a dream or just flashes in my mind. Only once did i receive a true force of action. That was right after the death of my grandpop. My only concern is i had something using past memories to gain access to me. When a child is involved it tends to go steps further. Just be wary of it, Ragnar. It does seem to focus on your daughter and could be using those familiar smells to keep you at a distance. Going back to the spirit box...would think if your grandparents were there...wouldn't there be a message or a hint from them on it? If there was, sorry i must've missed that. Just be very cautious for Gyda and yourself. There are things that love to deceive and play games with us.
