As an apprentice Greenkeeper I had an unusual encounter. I would start work at 6.30am six days a week at a bowling club in Sydney. It was on the North Shore and the members were very wealthy and snobby, apart from an old ex boxer who had made quite a bit of money back in his day. He would be there every morning when I arrived on the back green having a roll up after rolling the dew off the green. He was a nice guy and it saved me doing it, even though he got in the way a bit. One morning I came in and there was Jimmy, he waved as usual but I noticed the dew wasn't rolled off. I went to the workshop to get the roller but Jimmy had gone. My boss arrived, late as usual lol and was putting up the flags when he stopped at half mast. Being a club for oldies It didn't surprise me as someone was always dropping off their perch. I asked who now, the boss replied old Jimmy died last night. When I told him I'd seen Jimmy this morning, even though a skeptic, he believed me. We both went in the club for a scotch before finishing the greens.

Sounds like he got his goodbye to you before moving on. We are in contact with so many people through our life. It's a rare gift to know we touched someone's life somehow.
I've come to believe what people call ghosts are more a stone tape type thing rather than a spirit. I do believe people close to us that have passed can visit but that's a different thing I believe or think or something, lol. I think what I saw was a ghost of Jimmy going about his usual business.

Could be a residual thing. Guess quite a bit of this stuff is a mix of feeling(s) and theory. The real answers will be known one day when each of us slip through that veil. Was that the only time you saw him doing 'his thing'?

A former long-time co-worker of mine passed-on in 2006. I still feel his presence here once in a while, confirmed by other sensitives and mediums.
Even after he retired, he would come by the shop at 5 AM just to talk with "the guys" and hang-out.

I had a slightly different experience with a co-worker. When I was employed in the credit office at a department store, there was a senior co-worker whose nickname was Zizi. She was originally from Hungary. One day she was very irritable and short tempered, finding fault with everything. She found fault with something that I had done, and since it was nearly quitting time, she promised to set me straight the next day.

I was dreading the confrontation when I came in to work, a little early. I was standing by my desk when a group of co-workers all entered at the same time, Zizi among them. She glanced up at me then looked away. I waited for her to hang up her coat and come back out of the cloakroom. After everyone else had put away their things and come back out into the office area, she still hadn't come out. I wondered what she could be doing back there. Finally I asked someone where Zizi was. They looked surprised and said that she hadn't come in, and that she had called out sick.

And no, she wasn't dead, because she showed up as usual the next day. It was weird.

Yeah just the once but I still looked for him every morning after that. It would creep me out if it was dark when I started early in Winter, I was only a teen then, these days it wouldn't bother me.
It was same for me at old shop i used to work at. I only saw something out of the corner of my eye once. I was always alone and it was just before 6am i got there everyday. Luckily never had bad feeling or anything there. I chalked it up to my boss's dad checking up on the shop. Every morning was a guess to how many or what types of moths were going to be hanging on the shop around the mercury vapor light lol. First time i ever saw a luna moth. Freaked me out first glance for sure.
