This Resonated With Me

That's a very interesting read, Garnet! Selectric needs to read this as well.
I have shared here before about odd dreams where I felt that I had traveled and was really there, as opposed to just dreaming. I wonder how many of the members here may fit into this category? I'm thinking a lot, which is why we were drawn here and to each other.

This article focuses on 'Intuitives' ... how is that defined? Is this like socionics and personality types like INTJ or is it something else? This sounds like a different use to me.

IMO, it's just another label. But I think that they mean people who have learned to listen to their gut feelings and follow those promptings.

Garnet's answer hit the nail on the head. Take all the labels you know from psych class and the personality tests and set them to the side. (Frankly, I took most of that and threw it in File 13 long ago when it comes to the paranormal.) You need to think in new terms that deal mainly in emotion and inner senses and perceptions. It has nothing to do with "who" you are, more what you feel from your senses and what your mind perceives. Words like intuitive, clair cog, clair sentient, clair anything. Those senses above and beyond the normal 5 senses.

I agree with the article where you wake up more tired than when you went to bed lol. Not sure if i fall into that category, though i often refer to myself in same term. I am always dreaming of work lol. There are those random ones that i can't pinpoint (logically) for any 'real world' reason for having them. They are extremely vivid and memorable.

The one dream that could have fit into this category was meeting a girl that i knew in that dream, but did not know her in life (yet?). She was badly burned in a car accident. Very shocking dream that kind of rocked me for sure.

Yes! Many times I would wake feeling as if I had had been busy working all night, with no memory of any of it, or just the memories of some outlandish dreams. I have been going back through some very old dream journals and it is amazing how the pieces of some of those dreams now fit and make sense.

I never did a journal. I always filed the ones that stuck in the back of my mind.
