The past year has been challenging for my family but through my Catholic faith I believe we have defeated what was attacking us. We had moved into a new home and after 5 months I personally experienced footsteps creaking on our floors when no one was there. Then a few months later in the early summer of 2021, I awakened to turn on our outside lights in the early morning hours after sleeping on the couch and I was immediatly taken back when I heard my son's voice say, "Dada." I responded, "Where are you?" I heard, "I'm upstairs." I knew something was off and I ran upstairs and peaked inside to see my son sleeping. Since then I have experienced dreams, locutions, moving objects, voices, loud bangs, light bulbs going off/on, and other disturbing things. My family in time would also experience other worldly events.
After researching purgatory, demons, and bulking up my Catholic faith I went on a spiritual journey. After experiencing these events I now pray a Rosary everyday and if I miss a day I make up for it the next day. My life has changed for the better and even though I am still not perfect, I am stronger spiritually then I have ever been in my life. I share this because I want people to know that you are not alone when things such as I have experienced occur.
If you have gone through similar events please go to Church and pray every day. When you fall get back up and try again. I believe that people have certain gifts in discerning spirits but I did not consult a medium or any occult practices. I did consult the Church and followed the directions provided and we have not had any issues since earlier this year.
