Got it yet?

Just checked my E-mail, and my mum in Spain is getting her first jab on Friday, so I'm doubly happy. It seemed unfair that I'd get it before her, but she gets it first after all, if only by a few days. Hopefully we'll be able to actually see each other safely in the near future.
Today was a good day.

Today I did my usual routine, coffee and read the news, and right there was an announcement that 44 year olds could now be vaccinated. I was a little surprised as we've been doing it in five year groups, but it seems it's narrowed to one age at a time, but anyway, that's my age since February, so within the hour (mostly spent drinking coffee and reading with about three minutes of using the NHS website, I have both shots scheduled! Deep Joy!
Next Tuesday afternoon I take a 15 minute bus ride (or walk) to a nearby medical centre and get my first shot. Second is booked for the back end of July.
I'm impressed by how easy this all is! I got to choose where and when with a lot of options.
I should have a really good level of resistance to Covid by now anyway after having it twice; by late July I should be one of the most Covid proof people on the planet! :)
NHS should give be tracking you because you are growing some immunity. Stay healthy Benway.

I think I win for worst reaction. Moderna had me nauseous and horrible brain fog which I've never had unless recreational and I HATED but no sore arm! lol next shot on 1 may
Hi J. I have to post that I too might have had a wee bit of brain fog - only slightly elevated above normal. While I was in it, I didn’t notice. But looking back I recall several times this past weekend when I struggled to recall a word or two.

I don’t know is it’s a side effect but I mentioned to my GF on Saturday and Sunday mornings that my dreaming seemed different but I was unable to recall any content. Therefore, I couldn’t explain my perception any better. As of this morning, my dreaming is more normal. I awoke this morning from a dream where I was having trouble making an appointment for a haircut.

What the heck! Yes, keep us posted, B. Surely it's coincidence. Hope you are OK!

Three hours after my shot.... and I'm waiting for an ambulance! Why am I not surprised. I'm just the worst at anything to do with Covid. Just a precaution though. I'll let you know when I get back.
Good grief, Ben! What happened?

Hi Debs! Still waiting. Younger people are more likely to get extreme reaction and so are people who had Covid. I had it twice, so maybe that's not helpnig?
We have another member experiencing possible problems from possilbe previous exposure as well. Symptoms?

Ambulance shortage! Luckily I can see the hospital out of my window and can walk in 15 minutes, so... I'll let you know when I get back.
