EASTER BRINGS ONE OF MY FAVORITE TREATS! THOSE MARSHMALLOW SUGAR BOMBS KNOWN AS PEEPS! SEEMS PEOPLE EITHER LOVE THEM OR HATE THEM.
HOW ABOUT YOU? I LIKE MINE "AGED"...JUST A BIT STALE.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE EASTER CANDY AND ARE PEEPS ON YOUR LIST?

Sorry, I hate them. Too sugary and soft. My favorite Easter candies are the Cadbury chocolate egg, and Jordan almonds! I used to live near a factory here in PA that made them, and the cloying smell of them was very noticeable when the wind blew in the right direction:mask:.

Up until a number of years ago, Rainblo used to make Easter egg shaped gumballs packed into a old school milk carton that were by far, the best I've ever had and I'd buy them whenever I saw them. Peeps I can eat even now, but I won't make a habit of it. But I've noticed their variety is growing.

Yes, we do! I love Cadbury's chocolate.
It's a bit different to the British version. I have no idea how either compare to the Australian one. Also, just to make things more annoying (for me) British Cadbury's is also not the same as British Cadbury's as they changed it since I was a kid.
Shakespeare wrote in Romeo and Juliet: 'A rose by any other name would smell as sweet'
But what of the opposite? The Cadbury's situation is like lots of different smelling girls who are all called Juliet! Or Rose. Or Cadbury.
I think, like the chocolate, that this metaphor has gotten away from me.
Perhaps certain kinds of flowers are nice and I have some Cadbury's chocolate here, so all is well.

Unfortunately, lots of things that used to be high quality and good tasting, have changed. Cutting corners usually means lowering standards, unfortunately. At the very Ieast, that is what I suspect. Look at what happened to Twinkies! I am not sure if you had them in the UK, but they were delicious little sponge cakes filled with whipped cream. They have since been replaced with something that tastes very cheap, and the filling is definitely not the same. For awhile, there was a flurry of DIY Twinkie recipes proliferating on the internet, but they just weren't as good as the originals.:(

I’m concerned Benway that you were going to lead into snorting peeps.
