There is a reason to this GarnetSilver!Well, here's another point. For visual appeal, it looks more appetizing when you see a plate of pasta with a nice, contrasting splash of red sauce. When it is mixed together, it looks unappetizing. Of course with leftovers, some people find it convenient to just stir it together and zap it in the microwave.
