For the first time in weeks I got to listen to a really GOOD interview on Coast to Coast last night. Enjoyed George Knapp interviewing Bigelow. Coast to Coast as it should be. Which is why...

Was debating whether to listen to or delete last night's show. I figured it would be a self serving commercial. Is Bigelow looking for money to replace his former Harry Reid gravy train?

No mention of looking for income in it. In fact, he actually spooked me a bit telling a wee bit about paranormal stuff happening to him and family. And he didn't go in depth on it with details but the hair stood up on my arms. I got the impression he's getting older and honestly looking for some answers for himself.

Ok, thanks. I'm not a Knapp fan, particularly when he's interviewing his buddies/meal tickets like Bigelow, Lazar, Lear, Elizondo, etc. He throws nothing but taters and never challenges them. Really enjoy his true crime and Mafia shows, but he's too biased in favor of his guests when it come to the paranormal, especially UFOs, for my liking.

He did try to push him some on this one even tho they are friends. Bigs didn't want to talk too in depth about the paranormal hitchhiker events last night, but did say he would in a different interview sometime. I missed the last 20 minutes of that segment, but the prior part was pretty interesting.

These were the GREATEST little side tables! I had a set and I loved them for years.
i love mid century tables, things from the 50's through the 70's. that one turned out pretty good for a four dollar investment. lol... have a pair of 60's end tables to re-do after the others, working on a dining room table from the 50's now. have to make legs for it but the top has turned out great so far. im really happy with these finds. will keep me busy for a bit...lol

I seriously found them to be the "perfect" table. They lasted for a very long time, at least until a boxer puppy got 'em. lol I have found the older furniture holds up sooo much better than this new stuff out there. I'd take it over something new anytime.

VERY nicely done, btw.

i cannot stand the particle bourd new stuff, gotta have real wood, something that can be stained, polished, oiled, something with a deep tone and character to it.

Totally agree with you. I inherited my mom's big old clunky dresser and armoire. Solid pieces from back in the 70's and weigh a ton, but you couldn't break them if you tried! I may look a bit dated around here, but the furniture will hold up to anything. My siblings couldn't believe I wanted them.
