Forbidden Planet ! I saw that for the first time last summer or maybe two summers ago and Svengoolie said that it was the Forerunner for the Star Trek TV series and the way it was approached. . Same with Lost in Space.
Svengoolie said that was the movie that got the whole ball of wax rollin'.

I currently have four full sized lightsaber replicas from Star Wars that I've collected over the years and twelve .45 scaled replicas most of which were licensed by Master Replicas (and greenlit by Lucas Film) for reproduction. One in particular (full sized) I've had for twenty years this September.

As for Star Trek, I'd be happy with the Constitution Class refit Enterprise model. Hands down, it's my all time favorite with the Excelsior class (Enterprise B) and Sovereign class (Enterprise E)
I wanna sword fight LW. I‘ve dreamed of a light saber since August, 1977.

WHAT TV OR MOVIE PROP WOULD YOU LIKE TO OWN? CAN BE FROM ANY TV SHOW OR MOVIE OUT THERE!

READ ABOUT THESE COOL ONES FROM STAR TREK

THANKS TO Duke FOR TODAY'S QUESTION AND ARTICLE!
I used to be a member of S.T.A.R. - an organization on SDSU campus which was a contributor to bringing back Star Trek. I have replicas’ of a phaser, of Dr. McCoy’s medical kit, a communicator, and a tricorder. In 2000, I was (surprise) Best Man in a Star Trek themed wedding. So I have a complete, though very rushed tailored Star Trek Will Riker uniform.

But, I’d trade it all for a light saber so I could dual Lone Wolf!

I have looked for it for movie night a few times.
I doubt it's in public domain. A movie as significant at that, someone is bound to be paying to keep the rights.

A guy who lived on my dorm floor had a set of plastic Spock ears he'd wear when he'd get drunk. He wore them a lot. Damn education majors never seemed to study.
