Deep growling noises (Please advice)

Not to trivialise anything the OP has said but from a logical perspective you have to take into consideration that sound travels further at night and a loud growl Miles away can seem as though it’s on top of you.

I speak from experience when spending time in Africa. At night lions tend to make a fair bit of noise and there were times the growls/roars sounded as though they were meters away. The reality was they were miles away and the sound just travelled.

Could be possible a bear growl could travel that far?

IMO there are things which can set off paranormal activity. Has there been any digging on the property lately? Has someone picked up something on the property and claimed it or put it in the barn? If you are religious a blessing can be arranged by connecting with clergy. One fo the things which people sometimes do which makes it worse is when they invite paranormal investigators in to agitate whatever it is so they can get proof. Then they leave. IMO the course Id take is go the camera route first. If you can or if you have the money. If not dont panic.Sit down and think about when it started and who was there and what time. Who, what , when, where and why. Thats a start.

I agree about investigators. Although I find the shows about this entertaining, I always feel badly for the victims of a haunting because nothing is actually done about it; things are just stirred up!

One of the shows that did help people was Paranormal state. I really liked it. It’s sad that the fame of it caused the lead investigator to go off the rails.

Oh, I never heard of that one. By going off the rails, do you mean he got swell headed, or did he have a nervous breakdown?

Ryan Buell was the producer and lead investigator. He got wound up in drugs, got arrested for felony car theft, arrested for fraud (taking thousands of dollars from fans for events that never happened), and falsely claimed he had cancer.

Other than that, though.....
