Long story short, a couple weeks ago my sister had texted me that our cousin x-times removed had attempted suicide (brain cancer related). Coming from an evangelical background, she asked me to pray. I didn't know the details, but I still prayed, however I felt the urge to use tarot cards in this process - not because I thought it would change anything, but just out of frustration that I was on the other side of the country from these events and couldn't be there for my family. I had decided to use the Fantod pack, which I will 100% acknowledge is supposed to be a doom and gloom approach to tarot for humor purposes - that's why I bought it. However, it's just the order in which I drew things on this single attempt that really struck me (see image).
This single arrangement I drew was around when my cousin ended up passing - which I only found out later. The only other person I've told is my sister, who surprisingly was receptive to it.
To explain the pattern, on the right I drew three cards top to bottom that are supposed to represent passing of time - here seen as the body to the urn to the bottle. Beside that, is the standard 1 to 3 in which the primary card was the unnamed figure (I interpret as the soul), supported by the ancestor, the effigy, and the ladder (being lifted).
Idk how obvious this may be to others, but when I flipped these cards I immediately knew my cousin had passed (which is why I took the picture) - without any info from my family until after the fact.
I don't pretend to know why I should need to sense the moment my cousin died, nor what benefit that served - Other than it pushed me to pray for an easy passing to the next life.
