The Most Common Used Phrase

Have you thought anymore about moving to be near your mom?
I'd settle for just seeing her! I don't even use public transport yet. Not until the local infection rate slacks off. One thing at a time. Currently I dream of the other side of town. I'm just glad of the internet and cheap international phone calls.

To my cat, Hank Aaron- "You are a good boy and a smart boy and a handsome boy and you're a good water drinker."
To my girl cat, Little Jo, before her daily brushing - "Come on, let's go do beauty shop."

Now I watch the local news every evening. There are several Illinois/Chicago politicians that I do not like that.... well I go beyond heckling the TV. It's a stream-of-consciousness rant that if I say something originally funny, I will post it on the political boards.

If and when Sports comes back I will be yelling at the TV again - but with thankfulness and gratitude in my heart.

Oh yes, the cat conversations. People would probably gag if they hear me going on an endearment binge about my little fur babies!
Do you also sing little songs to them? Hank Aaron has one that goes along with the Speed Racer theme.
" Here he comes, here comes Hank Aaron, he's a frieght train on wheels. He's a big boy and he's going to be chasing after golf balls."

Shadow T. Cat had "Shadow The Cat, Shadow the Cat, Shadow the Cat, I'm so glad I know Shadow the Cat."

It's a shame that all the Broadway musicals are closed because they could really use these songs.

Yes, for Sheena it's "Sheena, Sheena of the Jungle, boom, boom, boom." and for Zoey, I use an old song called Chloe except I change the name. And it goes, "Zoey, I got to be where you are!"

I have a *very* vocal kitty. I'm a reasonable mimic, and since she very rarely stops talking to me, I'm quite sure the use of the "word" MEOW is top of the list in my house...and not just from the cat!

My cat that passed on last year, was very vocal. We used to carry on Meow conversations back and forth, all the time. I miss that.
