Okay guys - Debi and I are kibitzing about not cooking in this heat. Please offer up your meal ideas for minimum effort meals to beat the heat.

We had Greek salad and shrimp cocktail tonight. Nice and lite.

Of course, I heard the oven preheat ding just now...GF is baking cookies! :yum:

Not actually a recipe, but has anyone ever tried tuna fish salad with dried cherries? Delicious!

GS - Is this a pretty typical tuna salad like mayo, routine spices, and celery? Or, is your tuna salad more exotic even before the dried cherries are added?

On nights we don't feel like cooking, we go with the very simple wine and cheese. Usually that means a dry red wine, a specialty bread (crustier the better), and chunk of extra sharp cheddar.

Great minds eat alike.

We do a similar simple no cook dinner Duke almost yearlong - Munchies Monday’s. Just wine, cheese, typically a meat - like salami - a few cut vegetables, a bread or crackers, and sometimes a dip like hummus.

We kinda graze it like a buffet.

A good quick meal. Open a can of soup for a side.
