I also think people had the wrong idea about the mitigation process. They assumed by doing social distancing, we would wipe it out. That has never been the goal once it reached pandemic stage. This isn't nearly over, yet people seem to feel it is.
The newest scary twist is the over 300 kids they have identified with this new version of it that causes Kawasaki type symptoms in the inflammatory system.

Fauci 'totally in favor' of reopening country if done in an appropriate way
Fauci said he does have some concerns if states or local communities are skipping some benchmarks in the recommended guidelines for reopening.
He said as states reopen people should take precautions such as wearing masks, social distancing and staying away from crowds.

and yet florida is having a baseball series this weekend, and coastal states are already trying to persuade ppl its ok to go on vacation......ppl really are acting like its all over, or at least beaten...

me too...the week Georgia re-opened, they did a cell phone search thing and found in the first 2 days 80000 ppl had come in from the Carolinas, florida and alabama…… I would be really surprise if there is not another wave or resurgence.

It's already happening. Been watching the numbers and watching the hotspots popping. I saw a meme about "The world watches America and asks What the HELL are they doing over there?" I thought that pretty much sums it up.
saw an article earlier where President Trump said there would not be another shutdown even if there is a second wave..... that all is good if you remove the variable of stupid ppl…..lol...sorry, ….but that will probably be WHY there is another hit to begin with.
