What do you enjoy reading ?

Well, Lynne, I used to like dystopian novels. I have now sworn off those! lol For pleasure, I enjoy Nora Roberts romance novels, spiritual based books, and mystical fantasy novels. And, of course, books about paranormal events.

I read quite a range of genres but mainly historical, biographies, science, aviation and more recently rediscovering science fiction

Same here, with the exception of the science fiction. When I was spending a lot of time in airports/airliners, I read a lot of techno-thillers (Clancey, Bond, Brown etc.)
I got frustrated reading some of them because they were so technically inaccurate, but they were mindless entertainment to pass the time.

I'm looking for a sci fi recommendation. Tony, what's good I may not have read?

Mysteries, Thrillers, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Biographies, Historical novels, and more I can't remember now.

I also enjoyed historical novels at one time, especially those by Michener and Uris. My two favorite novels of all time are both by Michener...."The Source" and "The Drifters."

Modern or classic? Old school I went back to Asimov, Clarke, Bradbury, Larry Niven, Robert Heinlein and more.

More recent (for me), Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchet, Stephen Baxter, Tony Harmsworth, Robert J Sawyer, lots more I can't remember right now.

I'll ping you more as I dig through the collection.
