My strange house

I'd be inclined to think this was camera/lens related if not for you having seen it with the naked eye. A yellow moth also crossed my mind, that could also account for the dog's reaction prior to it taking flight if it had been crawling up the wall. The flight path and speed don't look right for a moth, however. Also I would have expected a moth to fly out of the video frame, no seemingly disappear within the frame.

The fuzz/dustball idea might have merit, especially if you can account for some source for an updraft within the home, such as your heat kicking on to propel it upward. What type heat do you have? Does it kick on and off, or is it continually? Any of sources of an updraft in that area?

Central heat and air that does kick on and off and the vents are in the floor. There is a vent in the far right corner. It wasn’t cold here yesterday—between 50-65–but the heat could have possibly kicked on. Hmmm...
I don’t think it was a moth. I have a major bug phobia and if it had remotely resembled a moth that size I would still be freaking out.

Here's the baseline, Dawn. What do YOU think it was? Because I've found the person who experiences the event is the one who is meant to receive the message it might bring. The experiencer is the one who either believes or does not believe it is paranormal, and that is actually the only one who counts in paranormal activity.

The look and especially the movement of the fuzzy thing seemed supernatural to me. And Henry was definitely bothered and tracking something. Also, I just zoomed in and slowed it down, and it looks to me like it bounces across the pictures and lands right on top of my baby picture then bounces straight up and disappears.
The logical side of me thinks it could have been dust or reflection or something. But I’m leaning more toward paranormal.
Funny side note: I sent the video to my mom and dad, and my dad just called and asked me in all seriousness if I think it could be Begesine, who was my childhood imaginary friend. Ha!

Ha! I have no idea how I came up with that name. My daughter had imaginary friends with weird names too. We’re creative I guess.

Hi! Do you know the history of your house?
Our strange happenings have occurred on and off since around 2006. Nothing intense or scary, just interesting and weird and a tad creepy.

(Part I)

Hello Dawn.

First off all, I apologize to have divided my message in to 2 parts. It's not like I'm spamming or something similar but I've just realized that we have maximum numbers of character limitation per message here, while this one is quite a long message and I didn't seem to be able to send all of it in one go:D

So here goes :

When there's something strange going on in a house, we usually only attributed it to the history of the house and/or the area where the house is built. Nothing is wrong with that, since the history of the house and the area could indeed have been a major cause for paranormal activities to take place.

But, those aren't the only factors to have made a place seems to be full of activity in the first place-even a newly built house at a relatively safe and clean area can also have similar activities like out of nowhere. But how come?

Well, here it is what I found so far concerning how;

Maybe you won't believe me if I'm saying this to you but, spiritual entities, or 'the unseen', are everywhere all around us. And not all of them are nice to human (positive entities), as many of them are negative ones by nature as well. You can also literally say, they've already been there when your house was still in building process, regardless of the area's history. As to whether or not you'll experience something strange when the building process of the house is completed, simply speaking it'll be depended on the percentage of their strength/number balance in the area where your house is built.
If the positive entities outnumbered the negative ones, or their combined strength is stronger even if they're smaller in number, you won't likely experiencing something. That's because positive and negative energies by nature are always negating each other, and positive energies are always in harmony with our own energy to the point it's hard for you to feel their presence even if they (positive entities) are literally standing or sitting right next to you. In other word, we can coexsist with them without problems at all.

If the percentage is equal to or around 50%-50%, you'll most likely encounter some light occurrences every now and then (light sounds, flashes, the appearance of orbs (like what you saw) etc).

If the negative entities outnumbered the positive entities, or their combined strength is stronger even if they're smaller in number, well... the bigger the strength is, the more you'll experiencing strong to stronger or even extreme activities (banging sounds, clear and persistent apparitions, rough physical touch, etc). And it's going to be more extreme if the area has a violent history or something similar.

(Please note however, that positive entities may sometimes do something extreme as well, but they didn't do that to scare you (although it could most likely be something that surprised/scared you the moment it happened); they may do that to warn you about incoming grave danger and the time is very little for you to avoid it (of course, it's something that will be depended on your affinity with them), or during the process of maintaining the strength balance with the negative entities (yes, they'll clash from time to time by nature, and the clashes may produce some strong energy blast we can sometimes feel)).

The percentage in the strength balance however, is dynamic, it can and will change from time to time as most of the spiritual entities themselves don't always stay put and they're making traffic as well-in and out of the area. Some can also be vanished just like that during the clashes to maintain the balance.

Other factors than that, could also include;

Something could have already been latched on to us when we moved in to a newly built house, and then something there triggered it to be more active than ever.

Or, how about the history of the building materials we've used to build the house itself?
It's hard if not impossible for us to tell what exactly has happened to them during production process. Some of them could've been covered in blood, some of them could have been claimed one's life. In this case, the workers' blood and/or life if a terrible accident ever took place during the production process itself. The spilled blood could have attracted some negative entities to attach themselves to the building materials, or the soul of the poor worker might have became an earth bound spirit that is attached to the materials.

Or, on another case, the materials themselves could already have something ugly attached on them in the first place.

It just so happened that my master was once doing some cleansing on a newly built house with extreme activities (furnitures moved everywhere by themselves (sometimes even thrown off), during the night times you can see apparitions as clear as in broad daylight, they gathered in the front room fully ignoring you, sitting on the chairs around the table and getting involved in a serious talks among themselves like in a small office meeting, etc).

After a thorough examination, the source of this extreme haunting was found; a huge wooden roof-supporting pillar in the middle of the house-or the main pillar of the house.

The pillar was literally made of a big tree log shaped into a pillar, taken from a section of a forest in Central Java area and that particular area of the forest itself is widely known by the locals as a haunted section.

When it was still a tree at it's original place, it was hard to cut down, it was hard to be moved when finally they've managed to cut it down, and it was hard to be transported (it seemed to have made several times of escaping attempts by rolling itself off the transport truck despite the fact that they've tightly secured it, so I've heard), not to mention, hard to shape and placed as well. And despite all of those, the house owner still persisted to have it as the main pillar in the middle of his house.

A strong negative entity has already been residing on the tree since a long time ago and being brought in from the forest along with the tree itself. And with it, there were also a bunch of it's gang members so to say, all negative in nature, tagged along.

My master ended up capturing them one after the other because they refused relocation. He put them in to some containers, and brought the containers to a desolate river a bit far inside the nearby forest and left them there. There were no less than 10 of them in total that had to be caught by my master at the time if memory serves, as it's been some years back..

Now that's why I can say how building materials could also be the cause of paranormal activities even on a newly built house.

It's true, there're actually many things that can be but a single main factor to trigger activities on a newly built house, and to be honest it's nearly impossible for us to find the exact source of the activities itself when it started to happen.

(Part II)

So we Indonesian, have this particular general tradition that when we moved in to a new place (be it old or new, it doesn't really matter), we'd hold a little ceremonial feast called 'selamatan' ('selamat' literally means 'safe and sound' in English), to prevent bad things to happen in the new place. And we're always doing it as soon as possible-the sooner the better, following the moving process or after the building process completed
.
On that occasion, we'd invite our (new) neighbors to come over and eat our food togeher, and just before the feast, a neighborhood elder or spiritual leader/elder will lead a prayer, wishing us safety and comfort in our new place.

Selamatan in general has 2 functions; first as a form of gratitude that we've managed to build a new house, or we've managed to make it to the new place without much incidents (in our tradition, showing gratitude in everything is considered to be the most important safety procedure to prevent bad things to happen to us in the future be it near or far, because if we remember to be always grateful for what we have now, we'd always remember those who are less fortunate than us as well, then we'd always remember to sincerely give something to the others-especially those in need. This sincere giving or sharing custom will strengthen our positive aura, thus pushing back negativity in any forms).

And second, the safety and comfort wishful prayer by the neighborhood elder and/or spiritual leader/elder, can act as a bless for the place itself.

And that's about how a newly built house can have paranormal activities and how to prevent it based on general Indonesian customary and traditions.

Actually there's one more factor that can affect the energy balance inside of a building, but it's more into the technical matter. And that'd be the objects placement calculation method, such as what to be built/placed on that section, what can't be built/placed in that section, where to make the living room, where to make bedrooms, where to place windows and/or doors, etc.

Big holes on a house in general, usually represented by doors and windows, will affect the flow of energies through the house itself, and in turn, will also affect the in and out traffic of positive and negative energies and finally, it can and will affect the energy balance inside of the house.
On the side note, we can also try to better or control the energy flow (i.e. to prevent the positive energy from leaking too much out of the house) by placing certain items made of certain materials on certain spots inside of the house (elemental (fire, wood, wind, water, air) adjustment), for example.

The Chinese called it fengshui, and we Indonesian, or my people in particular (Sunda, we're one of many ethnical groups indigenous to Indonesia) also have our own objects placement calculation method almost similar to feng shui.

As for your place, I think you can still ignore the activities for as long as they don't try to physically touch you or doing something that can harm you (like throwing off small things and furnitures) if you like. But you can also ask somebody to bless your house, just in case the activity would increase in level, in the future.

Well, I hope this helps, and I'm sorry for my English in case I've made mistakes during the process of typing this message btw :D
