This is the younger guard starting out. So many of the old guard are dying or not able to get out there anymore.
 
I might give expedition BF another try. I’ve heard the lady who’s the primate expert on MITD and she was more impressive than on the show.

I think the shows kinda "direct" what these people do and say for the show. If she was more impressive, you probably were hearing the "real" her.

There's a director out there calling the shots, unfortunately. But that's TV for ya. I've never seen it...heard about it but not watched it.
