I am experiencing paranormal activity for over three years.
Hello, Jeffrey
It is very difficult to know exactly what is going on with you just from reading your posts. But here are my observations and opinion.
First, you are rational. You are aware of what is going on. You understand that your experiences are non-ordinary. You are executing a plan made up of all the right steps to determine a cause. And, you can communicate what is going on to others. This is all an extremely good sign.
Secondly, it appears that your doctors cannot find anything physically wrong. That is hugely positive.
Thirdly, you are open minded. By posting to this forum, you understand by implication that medicine (or science, if you will) has its limitations and that satisfying answers may lie in the very realms that science has yet to account for, i.e. that which we call the paranormal. That is also a very good sign.
Furthermore, you have discovered that these experiences seem to run in the family. That can be a very good sign as long as these experiences are not debilitating.
The overriding clinical criteria in these matters is always whether a condition interferes with one's normal functioning. If you are rational, can go about your daily routine and are not a danger to yourself or others, then there is probably nothing to worry about.
Along these lines, my suspicion here is that if there is anything debilitating about your condition, then it is really not the condition itself, but rather it is only the worry and anxiety caused by not having any clear answers as to what is going on. But only you can be the judge.
So if any of this resonates as true, then my humble suggestion would be that maybe you are ready to go through an acceptance process whereby you embrace these non-ordinary elements of yourself and perhaps re-conceptualize them as gifts. The process of acceptance may not be easy. But if I can offer a rule-of-thumb for arriving at acceptance, it is when I stop judging things in terms of good or bad and begin to simply experience things just as they are, no more and no less.
Anyway, those are my observations and advice. I hope that I have not overstepped my bounds. Your last post leaves me feeling optimistic. You may be on the path to becoming a late-blooming shaman. Good things may soon follow...
