I am experiencing paranormal activity for over three years. Everything started when I concentrating on a spot in the sky which opened up as though I was going through some kind of portal. I have no idea of why or how this is happening to me. Events such as being in places that I've never been, seeing unimaginable things and faces and people, witnessing scenes of past events, smelling cigarette smoke that is not there, being extremely scared about a half dozen times by something that I would call a demon, being touched, feeling different currents as I walk by appliances, with too much else to share on this initial post. I need to understand what this represents and what to do with it.

Welcome Jeffery. You covered a lot of experiences without much background. Perhaps you could give us a little more history, maybe start with the first incident. I’m sure you probably realize any answers for such paranormal activity are just theories. Have you ruled out any physical or psychological possibilities by seeing a dr? Not to offend but there are ailments that cause issues. Ruling out every natural possibility first.

I believe these things are around us quite often,some people start to become open to it later in life,some are born sensitive.Often it's a case of learning to live without it distressing you too much.You need to study about this on sites like this to get an idea what actions are the best.It's very deep stuff.
Hello Lynne and thank you for the kind welcoming. Yes I have seen doctors including a neurosurgeon because I was experiencing some blackouts. I had CT with and without contrast, MRI and X-RAY testing done with negative results. I spent five days in the hospital in a padded bed (they removed the pads per my request) hooked up to a machine looking for answers to explain the blackouts. Nothing was found. This covers any medical issues.
Lynn, I just remembered my first experience maybe 20 years ago. I way lying down on the beach with my eyes closed and out of nowhere images of faces and things started flashing around 1/2 second apart and must have flashed hundreds of these visions. None of these faces were familiar to me. AND I just found out that my father and grandmother have had possible similar experiances. My father has other people living in his house. My father is 87 and I just found out about this from my sister who has known for years.
Jeffrey, you and I are in the same age range, so I can imagine it's a bit unsettling for something like this to suddenly happen. If you've ruled out all other physical possibilities, then you may have a late arrival of some skills. And just so you and any newcomers know, most of us here have quite a few years of experience with this, so we always ask the physical part first, as some illnesses do have the potential to cause hallucinations...such as Parkinson's disease.
If all else is ruled out, then the potential is there for paranormal/psychic abilities. Since you have some background with family to work from now, you might ask more questions of them to see if anything matches with them. We always recommend that you do some research on the specific type of events you are experiencing and perhaps keep a journal as to what you are seeing and/or hearing. It can sometimes form a pattern for you that will make better sense in time of these visions.
We also recommend that you work within whatever spiritual concepts and beliefs you may have. We honor all beliefs here but do recommend prayers of protection for anyone new to these experiences. I realize some new to the field may not feel they are necessary, but the power of intention and/or prayer plays a very powerful part in all of this. Science has even proven this concept to some degree.
