Hi friends, Im back already. I took my daughters to the cemetery this afternoon on Veterans Day. It was a beautiful day. Flags flying. Old weathered headstones remembered with crisp new American flags. We like to walk the cemetery and clean off old graves. Visit headstones of babies. My youngest is somewhat obsessed with the military and world war 1. So I thought going on Veterans Day would be fun for her. Gosh, it’s good to be on a forum where nobody is going to think I’m weird for enjoying long strolls in a cemetery. I took some photos. I usually don’t. But after reading a lot of posts on here I thought just maybe I’d catch something. When I got them home and looked them over I had a few photos with a blue luminescent circle. Orb? I’ve recently tried to become more open to the paranormal. I’m not sure if I’ve captured something of interest or a camera malfunction. That said. I haven’t taken a photo with this blue spot in it before today. It showed up in two places at the graveyard. Photos taken about ten minutes apart. There’s a photo without it that was taken a few feet away and before the one with the blue orb? Thoughts? Photo attachments below.

Red, first let me say, bravo and kudos to you for taking the walk and remembering. And for clean ups as you go. I think it's a lovely way to spend the day and honor those gone from us.

I'm having a fight with my computer tonight and can't get the pics to enlarge. I'll have to let someone else comment on the orbs.

Hi, Red! We also like to walk in cemeteries, so you are not alone. We live about a block away from a large one and have often seen deer there. It is a peaceful place to walk, better than on city streets. Also, that is wonderful that you cleaned things while there. I am often tempted to. ;)

After reading another post about camera lens flares and doing a little google research I’m sure that’s what it is. It’s an interesting phenomenon even if it’s not paranormal.

I don’t know much about photos so I can’t say, you never know. It is pretty clear and blue.

It is pretty isn’t it? In my research I found almost identical blue orbs of light that people felt were spiritual in nature. But I also found technical explanations for it as a camera flare. What’s interesting to me is that I’ve been using this phone for several years and taken many photos in similar light conditions and never had that phenomenon show up in a photo until Veterans Day at the graveyard. I’ll take more photos next time we go and see if anything shows up.

You may never know for sure but your intuition is important too. Your gut may be giving you the real answer. I’m sure that there were spirits there even if you could not see them. Being appreciated and thought of on such a special day would bring a visit I’m sure.
