I'm the one who doesn't typically see ghosts but something just happened...

Well, it's been a little over a week now and I haven't had any recent meaningful experiences in my house.

The last one was just two days after the bright flash of light I posted about. I did see again what appeared to be the shape of a person behind the glass french doors in my office - average height and average build possibly male and visibly "sepia toned". But it was only visible for an instant and when I blinked that image was gone. [The image was not likely my own reflection in the glass - body shape was far too different. For being a possible spirit entity it even had more flesh color to it's non-flesh than I do in my own real flesh.]

Because I fear visible stimulation, I asked aloud that if anyone was trying to communicate, to please do it audibly if at all possible but don't appear visibly if you can control that because "seeing things" scares me.

Nothing else since that quick, "iffy" occurrence above. So I'm going to assume that if there was anything here, it is either gone or resting now.
Thanks for the update, Wands. So typical of many paranormal events. They are usually short in duration although the impact is large!

Posting about this unusual short combination of occurrences actually taught me something about myself Debi. In fact, I only recognized it today for the first time while posting my quote asking any entity in my home not to manifest in a human form.

I finally - just today - recognized that there is a reason for why I might fear visual manifestations but I don't seem to fear either audible nor tactile contacts. This is some big discovery for me too. I suspect I don't fear audible (disembodies voices) because for most of my life I have had to deal with my telepathy - I receive peoples thoughts in a (previously) uncontrolled fashion - I hear peoples' words! And, I don't seem to fear being touched because I've had to deal with my empathy for so many years; I feel inside of my own body what others feel in theirs.

However, I suspect that I likely fear visible manifestations because my only visual-oriented psychic ability - premonitions - don't appear to me as physical human bodies. I always see premonitions as "scenes" which include both persons and other non-person content. But I just haven't (so far) experienced "people" as visible entities. Thusly I haven't grown accustom to same.

The great thing is, you have learned more about yourself and your abilities with this. That is a biggie, Wands.

Yeah for me! ;) I've grown this week.

Do you think my analysis (in prior post) of my perceptions reasonable Debi?

You already know within you they are, Wands. See, the thing about this is when it reveals itself to you, you just KNOW. Don't question what the revelation is, babe. :)

Thanks again. Maybe kind of a huge leap for this old guy.

So glad I found the PNF. I doubt I'd have grown to this point without you all.

I think the fear of a manifested being is that it could interact with the environment. It could attack you. A voice or a vision is non-corporeal and can’t hurt you physically.

You have enlightened others yourself! Remember that we teach what we most need to learn or remember.
I agree! Wands has taught me a lot and my life is richer for it.
