So I started yesterday to read 'Love in the Margin' by Yoko Ogawa. I only read 17 pages (the book has 190 p). It was the part of the 1st interview with all the patients and the stenographer.

Because I was tired, I just got to bed. I remember looking at the sky through my opened window and it's like something "aspired" me. I suddenly think about one famous BTS member (Kim Taehyung/김태형) (don't ask me why tho) and I swear that I fainted, it was definitely different that the feeling of falling asleep.

And I made a dream. A weird one. That guy said to me to meet him at a park. So I did because in my dream it felt like we were close friends and that we already met a few times even though it was rare due to an unknown reason. When I arrived he was really cheerful and told me it was My day. We took a bus. And I kept thinking that I should enjoy that day because after he would go for a long time (like always). So he was very kind and friendly to me (there was NO ROMANCE) and kept on offering me to massage my hands. I said maybe later. The only thing that mattered in my dream was to spend time with him, so we enjoyed not talking together. It was really peaceful. Then he said that he would just talk to a teen boy that was on the bus and would go back to me. I remember that teen boy has black hair and tanned skin. Then that member came to me, he massaged my hands and even though it was a great moment, my heart hurt a lot. Then there were no more people in the bus (except the teen boy and me). The member said to us goodbye and left the bus, letting us by ourselves. End of the dream.

When I woke up I was kind of disoriented but I was okay. Then I went out and took The book of Yoko Ogawa with me. I walked without really knowing where to go and I arrived coincidentally in a parc. It makes me smiled. So I continued to read my book and at the end of the book I suddenly felt an impression of déjà-vu. I immediately thought of that member (Kim TaeHyung) and my eyes got wet. I didn't understand wtf was going on so I started to think about what could makes me like that and I realized.

In that book (that takes place in Japan), the protagonist is a young woman that haves a problem with her ears and she meets that stenographer. Then we're introduced to her nephew, a 13 years old boy (at the page 49). The stenographer will mainly take care of the protagonist and he will meet sometimes her nephew with her. There are two really important scenes that take in a bus. Also the protagonist wants to massage and touch the stenographer's hands. At the end (Spoiler guys) the protagonist knows there is not a lof of time with stenographer and her (although they still get well along). He will leave the boy and the protagonist alone (but for a good abstract reason).

I learned today that this book is supposed to be very abstract and dreamlike. Which is weird because I was spoiled in my dream about that dreamlike book.

I would really appreciate your help or just your opinion.

Hi InItalian, others will come along and offer their opinions about the dream. I wanted to welcome you to the ParaNormal Forum. We will no doubt ask a few questions, such as " do you think that you know this person " to help us better analyze your dream.

By the way, are you from Italy ? Is English your second language or are you using translator software ? benvenuta

Hey!
Thank your for your fast reply :0

So i don't personally know that person, he's just from a famous band that i listen sometimes :)

And no, I'm not from Italy. I'm just a big fan or Jean-Michel Basquiat and his painting "In Italian" really touched me^^ But that is true that English is my second language since I'm from France haha

Sounds to me that it's just a projections from your subconscious mind. Having a big emotional investment about this novel will definitely appear in your dreams. Dreams have symbolic meaning through literal imagery.

As far as the Deja vu, those can be messages from your dream body which witnessed an event in the future. I believe the astral body dreams of possible events that could take place in your life.

I had Deja vu in a country I never been in with a completely new environment. This completely debunk the theory that "we remember things that are familiar to us that we seen before"

Hello and thank your for your reply!

Okay, so you think it was "just" a premonitory dream ?

Déjà-Vu is a really interesting thing but because i believe at the same time in science and metaphysics i think it can be either due to a temporary alteration of some neurons or simply because the person has previously made a premonitory dream that she/he forgot about. It's probably both and might depends on situations.

Also I'm not sure to completely understand your 1st paragraph since that before making that dream i only read 17 pages.

I agree, this seems like a carry over from the book.

Welcome to the forum.

I would say that it was your thoughts and focus on the book that your mind started to work out scenarios where you would encounter the same situation, and then it worked out how you would react in that situation.

Our minds do this a lot with dreams, and I think is a basic survival instinct, but put in the 21st century. Instead of dreaming about encounters with wolves and what we would do, we dream of other situations, and work out what the result would be.

In a survival situation we may only have a second or two to work out all possible scenarios - which is not enough. So instead we dream of what may happen and work out the answer ahead of time. That way, if it happens we already have a plan.

As you have been thinking of this book before sleep then you have put yourself in the situation to work out how you feel.

Some dreams are just weird anyway, but don't mean anything.
Last night I dreampt I was in a house when this dog was possessed and told me to get out. Ok I am now dreaming of talking dogs!

To understand dreams you should learn their origins and how they're intimately tied within your being. Read the book "carl jung man and his symbols' Here's a free pdf file. You can probably find one translated in your native language.

Hi InItalian,
I liked your openness about your experience with a weird dream. As I read how you explained the details of what you experienced, i could try to share my opinion about it, even though I do not have all the details about your circumstances like your age and where is the park in question.
I have had those strange dreams with strange coincidences and sense of deja-vu for a long time in my life.
What i can share that i have read and the way i understand mine, is that dreams and details in them, mostly if they leave an impression enough to remember it afterward, are symbols that represent something else we do not know yet but that we associate with in our life...like something similar...for example the Band group member is not someone you know but a member of a band that you like so it might represent someone around you or that will come around you in a similar way or that makes you feel the same way or that you admire...
It is very personal as everyone has their own representation...a bus could mean different things to different dreamers.
When it happens, i try to pay extra attention the following days for coincidences and signs that might come to me that have to do with the dream.
The mood of the dream might give you an idea also about what to watch for...if we are worry, sad, scared, happy, etc...the following days check for times that makes you feel the same and be more on your guard or pay attention around you.
It is the full moon today and a lot of people with Psychic "gifts" or abilities are more perceptive during those time of the moon phases to receive signs.
Personally I think that you might have had a premonition as you did ended-up in a park the day after as in your dream. You also say that you felt tears or sad...maybe you picked on some thing that might have happen in that specific park before, if you are an Empath or a Sensitive.
My advise...watch around you and be careful if you encounter a man that fit the description of the one in the Bus you were left alone with in your dream at the end, when the one you trusted left represented by the Member/Band one...mostly if you find yourself in the company of someone you trust and you are presented to another one to be left alone with...
I think dreams are signs of things to pay attention to, sometimes to protect us or guide us...
Also if you feel you have passed-out...maybe check your health and nutrition as it is possible it is what happened. When you check the health and it is fine, then maybe it is from the psychic area then. If you are young or never worked with psychic abilities/gifts but if you have it or it is developing for you...it could be very strong at first until you learn to control it.
A good author i would like to recommend you that i admire a lot is ADAM and he wrote few books called "DreamHealer" 1,2 and 3 and others.
He is an International Energy Healer and he is very young. On the cover of the book there is a hand...
Hands are the Healers tools...maybe you have a healing gift and that is what the Member/Band man in the dream was watching for ... ?
Good luck !
