I have recently become suddenly preoccupied with bears. I had researched and watched videos on bears daily for about a week leading up to the incident on July 4th. This sudden bear obsession is pretty random to be honest. I even decided I should purchase some bear mace and told my friends I want to buy bear mace on July 3rd and they laughed it off as me just being my usual eccentric self. I do not live in bear country but sometimes visit bear country nearby.

On the 4th of July, I was staying at my friends house and I woke up to a brown bear outside the window. No one has seen a bear on his property in the 11 years he has owned it. In fact, I'm 35 and never saw a bear until this week. Coincidence?

Some other strange things have been happening in the past 3 weeks that I have made me think twice this was a coincidence...

As a backstory about myself and my energy....about 9 years ago there was an approximate 30 - 45 day period in my life where electronics would go haywire around me. DVD players would suddenly fast forward (and no one was touching the remote control), radio dials would physically move on my boombox in my room and change channels. Also, there was a few incidents during this previous time period where my car stereo radio would change channels on its on or begin to scan as well. At that time in my life, I was going through some major upheavals in my life and was experiencing profound emotions. I am in a similar spiritual, emotional state in my life now as well and strange things are starting to happen again...

When you say you don’t live in bear country but visit it near by how far of a distance is that?

I ask because bears travel, they can cover some ground and I don’t know what the immediate areas are looking like but just about everywhere human presence encroaches on them so sometimes they fall out of their “normal” pattern and you’ll find them where they aren’t “supposed” to be. I would always advise this to anyone but especially in your case, don’t get yourself into any situations where you may run into one. Be safe about that.

I wouldn’t rely on bear mace either personally. If it’s all you have then by all means fire away but even stepping it up to a pistol, unless it’s a chunky 44 or maybe 357 it won’t counter their adrenaline in a charge. As the saying goes “if it’s brown lay down and if it’s black fight back” there really isn’t much you can put 100% faith in with them, it’s really all in what their brains decide to do in the moment. If you haven’t, you may want to look at youtube videos of people out hiking when a bear wanders through and see how they handle themselves by wearing bells or saying “hey bear” so it doesn’t startle them etc.

Have you had any weird dreams or anything, maybe one that’s escaped your immediate memory? Sometimes they can slip out of your immediate recall. Also when the radio starts acting up does it ever go to playing something that would be an odd coincidence in any way?

In the mean time I would probably put any trips through bear country on hold unless there’s some reason you feel you must do it. It would be out of character for the most part for that bear in your yard to want to come inside but be extra aware if you park in the driveway and have to walk to you car, or when you get the mail or walk the neighborhood.

These are all good practices to have at all times anyways.

Bears are very smart. Should you decide to wander in bear country, make you presence known by making sounds and not sneaking around thick places. Anglers get in trouble because they are quiet and wander slowly through the water. I've seen videos where a mother bear will put herself behind a human to use as a shield to protect her cubs from an attack from a male; if I were in bear country, and I found a mother bear following behind me, I'd stay calm. Remember, most bears attack when threatened...when they are cornered, have cubs, or feel their food is threatened to be taken away. Keep your area clean in bear county...they have a fantastic sense of smell and will try to get at your food. I am more concerned about dealing with people instead of bears...people carry guns and have attitudes. Be safe my friend!

Sounds like you have “Slider” tendencies when upset. SLIder activity?
You may find this thread interesting.

The bear incident is interesting. Possible precognition? Have you had any missing time? Abductees often report seeing animals in and at unusual times. It is thought to be a form of mind control.

Sometimes when a person dies animals will be present. I've heard stories of birds visiting the homes of people who have passed away.

Yes but that doesn’t seem to fit the situation in this case. She seemed to have a warning in advance about seeing the bear. It wasn’t associated with a death.

I understand; I was trying to find relevancy with wild animals in the context of animals. Good call!

I am just wondering if the radio changing station when you were going through a tough time may not have been you - but a friendly spirit that was trying to give assistance.

My partner is a SLIder. Only causes problems when she is stressed - which can be at tills, or running late. She used to dim lights above her at work, and as that was a cinema with a ceiling of smaller lights in the lobby area it was quite impressive to see them dim or flicker as she passed beneath. Only time I have seen a high bay lamp go out in Asda (wallmart) was when she was under one, and has turned off a series of shop displays when walking past them. The till thing is annoying though. So many times it won't accept payment, goes blank, have to move to another till is unreal. Plus set one of the 'call assistance' bells off and it wouldn't stop still she had left.

You two must have some real adventures tog. You both have gifts. I bet you have a fun time comparing stories lol.

Well it was how we met really -through discussing this sort of thing online. Tramples the same path as me and just sort of...happened. :)

We compare notes yes. She seems to get more of the personal stuff, the backstory. I tend to get more detailed images and the surroundings.

First time we stayed together - the lights went out!

....but that is another story.

May as well type it up now while I think of it.
