An interesting topic that doesnt get talked about enough. Extreme paranomral experiences that cause PTSD. I think this is more common than most people think. A non-human entity terrorized me for a decade. Once it was finally removed I was left in a puddle of emotions.
I feel that I suffer from PTSD due to these horrid paranomral experiences.
Here is a bit of info.....
PTSD is diagnosed after a person experiences symptoms for at least one month following a traumatic event. However symptoms may not appear until several months or even years later. The disorder is characterized by three main types of symptoms:
I am a big beliver in counseling and what talk therapy can do. But, how would a counselor view someone who has gone through a paranormal experience and needs assitance processing thier PTSD. Are there open minded counselors out there?
- Re-experiencing the trauma through intrusive distressing recollections of the event, flashbacks, and nightmares.
- Emotional numbness and avoidance of places, people, and activities that are reminders of the trauma.
- Increased arousal such as difficulty sleeping and concentrating, feeling jumpy, and being easily irritated and angered.
Do you suffer from PTSD due to an extreme paranomral experince? How you deal?
It had been 18 months since the final removal and I find myself still struggling........
Same here. It’s like I have no one to turn to which is why I created my account here
