Do you have a prayer request?

This isn't exactly a prayer request, but a call for assistance. I was looking into Reiki Attunement, and found this website where this couple offers to do a distance Attunement. All they ask if my first and last name and my location (not address.) I gave them that info, and they gave me a date and time for it. After thinking it over, I decided that I didn't feel comfortable doing this, so I sent them an email canceling. I feel increasingly uneasy that they aren't going to respect that, and it makes me uncomfortable to feel that people are going to try to influence me from afar. Even though I canceled, I got two confirmation emails that the Attunement will still be happening. How do I protect myself if these people are no what they say they are? It is supposed to be today at 12 noon. I just woke up in panic!

Garnet, I am sorry I did not see this until now. White Light. Always use White Light as a shield, and speak it out loud..."I refuse the offered Attunement." You can also do this after the fact and send away any energies that have been sent to you.

Thanks, Debi! I guess I just panicked and freaked out when these people seemed to be ignoring my request to cancel the Attunement. I usually am able to manage, but it just seemed creepy that people from far away would be trying to influence me in anyway. I tried envisioning a psychic barrier all around me at the time they said they would be starting. Shortly after that, I got an email from them saying they removed me from their list. So I hope that helped deter them! I did start feeling really dizzy about an hour later, but it passed.

Sounds like you handled it well. I think going with your instincts on this was wise.

I agree, Lynne. I just wished that I hadn't listened for those instincts before I sent my location info to them! I am entirely too impulsive at times.:disrelieved:

I hope you're feeling better about things garnet.
Sounds like you jumped to action when you needed to, and that you have tools up your sleeve to deal with any unwanted attention.

I still feel a bit uneasy, and am watching dreams which always let me know of any psychic intrusion.
