There is one location that I used to pass though on my way to work. It was just a crossroads that had a pub and a garage but that is all. I think it had two houses but they were modern.

But I have experienced 3 separate events at this one location.

One from 1308, one in the 1400's and one from the 1970's.

Further along that road - less than 500 yards is cross after cross where memorials of road accidents have been put at the sides. I was only using this road for a commute for 8 years and in that time I saw 2 fatalities and two other vehicles in the fields either side that had come off the road.
This is a little odd as the road is straight, with a ditch each side and well drained. - so why so may accidents and deaths on this small stretch?

Is it possible that it is a hot spot for activity?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was! I have driven past spots where there were pockets of great sorrow in the air, and learned later that fatal accidents had happened there.

Of the fatal accidents that happened in the 8 years - neither were at that junction. One was a motorcycle that collided with a tractor trailer turning out of a depot, and another also involved a car hitting another tractor.
It is a good road so maybe people just travel too fast on it.

The first sighting I had was early morning and it was misty. I saw what I thought was mist across the road but as I was driving into It I saw that it was soldiers! They were 3 abreast walking along the road, most wearing brown leather tops but with long whits shirts showing and long flappy white sleeves. They were mostly carrying poles, and had brown kilts on - but no pattern to them. A most disorganised rabble.
The reason why I think it was 1308 is because the research I did found there was a battle of Barra between Inverurie and Oldmeldrum and the notes stated the men chased the attackers along a route through the marshes then turned towards Oldmeldrum. If this was an established track already - it matches the current road through the marsh area, and also the clothing is correct for that date (But the historians dress them up in tartan kilts!)
As I was driving on the road - I just had to drive through them. It happened and was over very quickly.

Wow, google maps is such a cool tool.
I agree it sounds like a negative spot. I’m curious what you experienced in those past time travels? Is that something you might share? Do you think your experiences give a clue to the areas mystery?

The next one was over a period of a couple of months.
Each time I drove just past the junction on the way to work I got a shiver down my spine. It became worse as each time I drove past that spot I would feel like someone had tipped an ice bucket over me. This was part of me learning that that feeling I was getting indicated someone had died on that spot. I get the same reaction as an indication now that someone had died there.

The feelings got worse and I started seeing a car in the field sometimes when I passed it. It was a red saloon style without any plastic bits and had chrome bumpers - I am guessing the 1970's?
Then I started seeing a man in the car. The car was lower than the road but in the field. I kept seeing him each time I passed. The vision developed over time - each time getting stronger.
Then I was standing next to the car - talking to the guy, and later on - I was seeing and feeling things that he was.

He was the driver, and he had an accident. He kept saying he was sorry over and over again, and that it wasn't his fault. He said he was on the main road going straight in the winter, when another car slid out on ice at the junction. It was winter time and snow was thick in the fields, but the roads were mostly clear. He had swerved to avoid the car coming out - over steered to correct, and ended up leaving the road into the field and hitting the ground in an abrupt stop in the snow. The other car didn't stop. He was in the car with chest and leg injuries - he couldn't breathe that well - or move, and was very cold. He looked over at his girlfriend. She was blond haired, but the impact killed her outright as her head smashed the windscreen. We was just so sorry about that and blamed himself. He waited for help, but by morning he had died of injuries and cold as the car couldn't be seen from the road in the dark.

I tried to research this but I couldn't find any details so far. asked at the pub but the manager was quite new and didn't know about an accident there. I did however see a wreath laid at that spot a few months later, But I don't know if it related to what I saw.

When you say you talked to this man, did you walk up to the car? Did he look and sound like a real person ? Were you able to reassure him and perhaps help him move on ?

It was a series of visions so was like a connection getting stronger over time. I didn't go walking about I was just in my car, but he always looked the same.
When I was seeing what he was seeing from his viewpoint I did get pains in my chest, right leg and just felt an overwhelming sense of remorse and anger. I'm not sure if he has moved on because of this.
He was also a smoker, but didn't light up fearing the car would catch fire.

Very interesting Rowan. I'm glad there are times when you're able to back up these visions with historical evidence.
Sounds truly fascinating.

Does it take any extra energy from you to have these visions do you think?
Is there any difference in the passing of present time whilst you are having them?

Or is it effortless like a daydream?

I've had possibly similar experiences. Nothing like what you've experienced, just a single image but never followed it up.

I suppose it is like a daydream....only it nearly always features dead people!
Time of day doesn't matter. Most of my sightings are around the middle of the day as that is when I'm walking about, but as above that one was early mornings and around 4-5pm.
The one consistent difference in all of them is the lighting. It is a type of monochrome grey tint. Like seeing everything in the light of a rainy day.
Sometimes things speed up or slow down and I seem to be able to control that somewhat. This would enable me to see a whole event in just a few seconds.
Sometimes events are combined and it takes some unravelling - more in another post on that.

I don't think it takes my energy doing this but it can have physical affects I have to cope with later, and I try hard to remember all the bits I have seen - the clues to dates are often in details such as clothing styles or vehicles/ decoration.

Sometimes it is just a flash image as you say, other times like a mini film clip, and like this one - a longer link to converse.

I always try to get proof of some sort - just to make sure I am not going mad! - Most of the time I find it but takes time either online or in libraries.
You could just write it off as imagination - if it wasn't for them being true. The only time I don't find any proof -is when there is none to be found. Never been disproved yet.

I'll post more in good time. Just don't want to reel them all off in one go.
