Just wondering if this has any particular meaning. We were using a ouija board and asked If anyone was willing to speak with us and the planchette slowly and hesitantly made its way over to no and then continued to make its way down to the lower part of the alphabet with no questions asked. We ended the session and said goodbye quickly before finding out what else had to be said. Does this have any particular meaning? I haven't heard of it instantly saying no before.

Hi Mikayla,Ouija boards are a really bad idea for anyone to use,you just don't know what is going to come through.I've never heard of any good things coming from using one, just a lot of bad stuff.Even the answer you got off the board tells you that its not to be messed with.As for an anwer to your question,no there is rarely any meaning to the paranormal.

Hi Mikayla and welcome to the forum. I recommend reading the link Debi has posted above. These divination devices must be used with the most caution. Most don’t recommend them. You are opening your self to unknown spirits and entities. Hope this helps.

Yeah I agree never mess with a spirit board. Alot of ppl IMO think it is harmless but you don't know who you are talking to. And it is not the board that brings them it is the players.
You are opening yourself up for activity. Some ppl have reported immediate activity, where others have reported nothing happening until years later. Especially if it is on the darker side of what came through they normally wait until something good is going on in your life is when they will strike.

Ouija boards were made exactly for the reason of contacting mostly NEGATIVE spirits and rarely ghosts, it should have never been given to the world as a game to play around with. Even the box cover says on it to be careful sometimes cause this thing isn’t a game. It’s clearly warning you. Because no angel or a good spirit or even a loved one that has passed away would ever think ‘Hmmm, let’s risk this thing and try to communicate to my beloved through a wooden plank with some letters on it and a divination tool that was made to channel in all the negative spirits that destroy lives through this. Lol.’.

Never use this for any reason, it’s of no help. Period.

I'm not sure that it is ever a good idea to open yourself to unknown influences unless you have barriers and strength to handle outside influences. Even the good seeming influences can turn out wrong. To me, it isn't really the ouija board that is at fault. They are just cheaply made toys mostly for kids. It is the KIDS of all ages that are the problem. Young kids are especially easily influenced by rather nebulous leadership.

I think of two little girls that tried to kill a "friend" in hopes of winning favor with the Slender Man. With kids, it doesn't take much and with an ouija board if one of the group wishes they can force some rather extreme things. I have known a few VERY dark kids. Some seem to be just born that way.

I will confess that to a limited extent I was a sort of dark kid. I was often seen as a bit strange and was kind of a loner. Periodic clairvoyance isn't always pleasant and if you tell that something bad is going to happen, when it does, you are kind of blamed. As you get older you learn to not tell as much and become both less sensitive and better at telling the difference between a clairvoyant vision and imagination.

I do agree with you that the "pack" mentality can come into play here, or that someone who is very manipulative or overpowering can use a tool such as this to sway others to their "game' or way of control... but I wouldn't call this just a "cheap toy meant for kids"... it has been around for many, many, years and is more of a tool than a toy....lol....perhaps a tool marketed as a toy, but a tool none the less.... if you give a child a lug wrench and teach them how to use it, you may get your tires changed, if you give them a lug wrench as a toy, you may find yourself driving and have a tire fly off.....lol... see the difference.
