The Girl At The Foot Of My Bed

It's a good site this mate,a lot of like minded, non judgmental people here with similar experiences.
Well, thanks for sharing that with me, my friend. I really do appreciate it. I am really enjoying this site. It's nice to know that I am not alone in this weird world. Lol.

I've seen a couple of kid ghosts in the home of a very out there family. One was a blonde girl about 7 or 8 who was sitting on their front porch with a long white night dress on.As I approached the front door she got up and glided down the stairs past me and around the side of the house, floating about a foot off the ground. When I told the people they seemed unphased and said they see her all the time. One of many entities I saw there over time.A very disturbing home.
Funny you should say that about a disturbing home. Growing up, I lived in a very dysfunctional crazy environment and our lives were laden with paranormal occurrences; so much so that we just got used to it; that is, those that were not too scary. I have a theory that when there are unsettled conditions and not a strong, positive spiritual environment, one is more likely to experience the paranormal. But that is just a theory of mine; no idea if it's correct. And as teens, my siblings and I played with a Ouija board very briefly. TBH, the weird stuff was already going on long before we encountered that Ouija board.

I believe that research has proven that to be correct. There appears to be a direct correlation between the two.

That sounds like my ex partners house when she grew up in but she was permanently messed up spiritually and mentally from it.She came good for a while but the messed up childhood had done too much damage. As Debi said those housholds are almost always full of paranormal activity and as you said not a positive spiritual environment full of protective care and love. You sound like you came through it ok though, you must be a strong willed, spiritual person.

It’s hard to know if these are real child ghosts or entities projecting that image to lure someone into agreeing to interact. Children create feelings of helplessness and cause us to put our guard down. Just a thought.

Similar thing happened to me in the 1970s. I was staying at an Inn called the Henley Arms in a little tiny village called Watford in Northamptonshire because I was doing some work locally for a few days. The Inn was about three or four hundred years old, but it was a nice cosy place. I normally sleep with the curtains slightly open as I don't like it to be completely dark. One night I woke up because I was really, really cold, despite it being summer, and there was a young lady stood between me and the window - outlined by the moonlight. It was real shock, and I shouted out, but she just stood there, bold as brass. That's when I became really terrified. I turned the light on, and as soon as it came on she disappeared. I got up and got dressed, no way I could spend another night in that room so I told the staff I wanted a smaller room, and they moved me. I later found out that there was actually a long and detailed history of a haunting at the Inn going back over a century. The spirit of a young lady. Locals told me that people had reported hearing mysterious footsteps, talking and giggling and things being moved, and lots of disturbed nights woken up in a similar way to what I had experienced.

I would have run out screaming. You did pretty good handling that.
