The Psychomanteum

A bit of Wiki on it...I don't trust Wiki for solid facts but it's what I have time to pull as research at the moment for those of you not familiar with this legend.

This discussion reminded me a good friend, highly educated and a devout Roman Catholic, who believes in the existence of the Chronovisor.

I had to look that one up Duke. Interest supposed tool.

I've heard of this so called window to the future. I need to research when this first began to be believed. Looking for my kernal of truth but I need to look at the history first.

I didn't realize there was a "future" aspect of this apparatus, my friend only talked about using it to look into the past . After he explained the device and its history, I made the observation it sounded like a cross between a Sony Trinitron and Mr. Peabody's "WABAC machine."

The stories have grown about this over the years. Once again, I can only produce stories, no facts here.

I've read soo many cool stuff on psychomanteum. Mystics and shamans would talk about using black mirrors?

That would be scrying.

There are actual scrying mirrors out there. I know, as I used to own one. The good ones are made of black obsidian, as mine was. You can also use any mirror and paint the back black for scrying.

The way they work is to bring images into your mind when you meditate on them.

I love Mr. Peabody Duke. We should all have such a guide.

I'm looking for help with this psychomanteum. If anyone wants to help me let me know.
