Country, Town or Big City livin'?

Both.
Semi rural area in a neighborhood on a lake. Being in a neighborhood is good for me because I'm your neighbor that's always borrowing something.:(:p
But I do think you need to live next to a giant City if you want good bread. I'm not talking about money I'm talking about bread. And deli.
A five mile drive will net me 4 golf courses. 20 miles circles 40.:)
But it really is night and day living in a small town. People are polite and hold the door open, and say please and thank you, and really mean it when they say have a nice day.
I think WhitneyK and I could swap out just fine.

WandS, I beat you to it.

Many moons ago there was a crisis on the Paranormal Forum. We were all listening to Art Bell and I decided I was going to grill a pork tenderloin stuffed with brie cheese and bacon. I had no rosemary.:( It was 2 a.m. when I rang my neighbors bell asking for rosemary. For some reason they did not answer the door.

Having lived in both settings, I prefer a more country like setting. Also, having had nightmarish experiences in a small town, I would definitely be more cautious about living in one again. I spent part of my teens in a beach town, and absolutely loved it! I could work on the boardwalk in the summers, and the ocean was wild and beautiful in the winter.

Ask a sailor about the Great Lakes. That thing has to be treated like an ocean. Spent a lot of time on one and that's the truth.
You are absolutey correct on that. Been on Lake Michigan enough to know it can kill you quick out there.
