Take me out to the Ballgame....

Hey Christie, can I borrow your engineering brain for a second? These are the Ben Hogan irons that I have been lusting after. Is the science legitimate?
BIL offers this advice ( doesn't answer your question)

I am sure those are nice but he needs to get fitted for the best results. Also have him look at Golf Forum - Golf Blog (MyGolfSpy.com) website where they test everything and these irons were tested under the players distance iron. It came in 6th but like I said needs to be fitted.

Yea ! I successfully moved a post to another and existing thread. The above post references another blog, which I thought doesn't belong on the live thread.

Comiskey Park in 1937 colorized pregame warmup. And yes you can see Joe DiMaggio.

There was a time when a radio stunt was cool.

Steve & Garry blew up disco records at Comiskey Park. It signaled the end of the Disco era and the subsequent riot made the White Sox forfeit the second game of the doubleheader against the Tigers.

Garry is the one with the microphone. Steve is the army guy. They split up but I still listen to both of their shows now.:) disco.jpg

This is Lorelei. She was The Loop girl (WLUP rock station).
She was also the lips in the narration of a popular movie at the time.

i remember that well, i was home living with my uncle at the time that was before i ever went to my first concert the way the reporter described the mayhem of the rock fans would later come true for me at concerts the anarchy is overwhelming to the ordinary person but to an angry teen ager it was heaven. I quit going to concerts once i got to a certain age after seeing a few very brutal fights and the crowd not letting paramedics through and turning over the ambulances and police cars.
