WE'VE BEEN NOTICING ON MOVIE NIGHTS HOW MUCH MUSIC MAKES OR BREAKS A FILM.

I've only bought three soundtrack albums/CDs in my life:

1) Clockwork Orange
2) Country
3) Man from Snowy River

Highly recommend all of them, you can probably hear them on YouTube if interested.

I've been a fan of movie soundtracks my whole life and even contributed to one but I'll keep that secret :)
So many great soundtracks by very talented composers, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Jerry Goldsmith, Bill Conti just for starters. What stands out for me;

Interstellar
North by Northwest
The Ghost and the Darkness

I don’t know much about what makes a good sound track but I like the songs from
Dirty Dancing, Greese, Footloose.

Lynne's picks, plus the Rocky movies and everything Queen played on.Sexy Beast ( a dark British mob caper movie) Lawrence of Arabia and The Bridge on the River Kwai. I whistle the latter while I work.:)

The Good,The Bad, and The Ugly.

My Hollywood cousin used to be married to a guy that produced movie music. He earned a ton of Gold Records and they went to the Cannes Film Festival 9 times:).
