I'd like to know what happens, Oz.I'll have to try it.
I would say this needs to be with someone you trust and truly want to connect with.Better not try it with a random stranger though.
I have heard this. It makes sense since an energy bond would be formed doing this.If you get good enough at it you can actually physically affect someone. You can heal (or harm) someone this way. So good call on doing it with someone you trust.
Garnet, my adult son is also mildly autistic and has this same issue along with social anxiety disorder. I totally understand this having worked with my son for all these years. He's also wildly psychic and picks up everything. You guys may not be able to hold a gaze long, but my experience with autistics is you all make up for that with highly sensitive gifts of other kinds.Being mildly autistic, I struggle with eye contact since it makes me very uncomfortable. I can look briefly, but that is all. Studies have shown that in persons with autism, the part of the brain called the amygdala signals a fight or flight response when exposed to prolonged eye contact. It took me years to be able to gain into my husband's eyes, and on high stress days I still find it difficult.
Otherwise, this sounds fascinating and I am going to try it!
