Potential Paranormal Spike
So yesterday at 8:33AM, while busy catching up on Owl's Nest topics at work, my mom messaged me informing me that my gran had passed away. Even though we were anticipating it, it still knocked us quite hard. But it seems like it may have triggered a spike in paranormal activity.
Firstly, the atmosphere throughout the house feels a lot heavier than before, like it just feels as though that wherever you go it feels like there's dozens of eyes staring at you, sometimes it felt quite uncomfortable. My fiancee reported feeling the same thing. But whether this is all just tied to emotions or is actually something paranormal I'm not sure, but I'll keep you guys posted as time goes.
But four strange things did occur throughout that day after the undertakers collected my gran's body. The first instance took place in our flat, my fiancee was on her computer and I was in the next room. She claimed to have seen movement of a dark "anomaly" out the corner of her eye. When she turned to look there was nothing. Later that day my fiancee was on the phone with her aunt who insisted someone was calling my fiancee's name on our side. But the thing is I had dozed off on the couch at the time and my mom was in the main house speaking with family. The strangest part was my fiancee didn't hear her name being called over the phone.
When the evening came we were in the main house and my mom distinctly heard a very hard knock on one of the kitchen cupboards. Her description of it was as though someone had actually knocked it with their knuckle. Assuming it could still be my gran present, she instructed her to go. Later we were all watching TV and we heard some items being moved around in the passage. Nothing too hectic but obviously there's no one that could have been that side of the house and all the dogs were accounted for by us so it wasn't any of them doing something.
Given the paranormal history of our property, it's had it's flares over the years, the last bad one in 2010 after a few of the animals died. If history dictates anything I can only imagine what the death of another person could stir up. I'll keep the forum posted should more things occur and try to see if I can document anything as well.
