Green mist

I saw my mother's spirit as she died. It rose up as a white mist and went up through the ceiling. I was not the only one who saw it. It was visible to those who cared to look. Out of the 10 of us in the room, 2 of us saw it.
That would have been an overwhelmingly sad but beautiful experience for you Debi.I like being open.

I was not scared when I first saw it, I initially thought it might be sprits or alien activity as was darting about erraticly scanning the room. I care for my 89 year old mother who has dementia, my next thought was if she was OK. Instead of continuing to observe it , I turned the light on and rushed into her room to check on her. I then searched the internet to see if anyone else had had a similar experience and came across this website. I was amazed by the similarities in one of the earlier posts. I got a bit freaked when someone commentied on ghosts and chanting prayers to get rid of the mist. A couple of other things, I have been thinking about the number 11 for roughly 2 years. Plus about three weeks ago I experienced what my daughter informed me was an episode of sleep paralysis. It was Sunday afternoon and I had laid down for a nap. I was trying to wake myself up but could not open my eyes. It was as if I was being held down on the bed and my eyes had been forced to close.

I have always had the ability to think about something or want something ( nothing big) and then find I get it. In the 80’s my dad was ill in hospital, I was a teenager at that time. My mum and I would return to the station after visiting my dad , in the station was a jewellers. Every time I would stare at the smokey quartz rings , ( my parents were hard up and could not afford to buy me one) to cut a long story short , three weeks later. I was travelling on an overground train with my sister, and a women she was talking with gave me her smokey quartz ring. This is one of many incredible coincidences.

Hi Dianne. I absolutely believe you. I stumble across answers to questions. To the point where it is uncanny.
There are many paranormal stories that happened to my relatives, and that is in family lore. Over the past few years of reading the Paranormal Forum I tripped over stories that were identical to my relatives' experience.
Welcome aboard Dianne !

I feel for you caring for your ill mum,I know how difficult it is as my partner's mum passed about a month ago from this, she was living with us.I didn't see anything but there was always a strange energy around when she was here.I think its the bizarre mental state people with dementia have that creates these things. The last couple of weeks she had to spend in a nursing home and I found it extremely hard visiting with all the strange energy in the dementia ward.

with all the strange energy in the dementia ward.
I worked for 30 years in geriatrics, Oz. Many with Alz/dementia patients in long term care setting. One of the things I believe is that at some point as the dementia worsens, the spirit/soul of the person actually crosses over (and briefly returns at times, especially at that moment of clarity near death when they come back and alert to wish us goodbye.) While in this state of confusion, I believe the brain is in pure chaos energy and that is what many empaths pick up while working or visiting with these patients. The energy of the brain and it's intentions are unleashed without real direction and it does appear to disrupt the atmosphere of a place. I spent most of my days shielding from this energy and the rest of the day trying to "read" the needs of the person still here. The burn out rate for this work is really high.

The only time I've seen green mist was when a dog of mine was run over.As I lay him on the lawn to check his injuries he died,it was at night and a green mist rose out of him and into the night sky.
So sorry about your dog.
