Me, too Sadly, this is known to be a lower income area of the country in the inland area. Some of these people have no where to go and no money to get out

That was unforgivable, imo. Katrina was one of the mishandled disasters in history.

There are reports of at least two counties who don't have any shelters that can withstand this storm.

One thing they haven't really brought up is we have a few nuclear plants in that path. Hope they are nailed down securely.

From a website I visit on a regular basis for good content...

They are repeatedly using words like, 'catastrophic', life~threatening', 'repeat, mandatory evacuations', 'once in a lifetime storm', 'one for the records'. 'deadly consequences', 'massive flooding', 'perfect storm' ?? WTF, saw that movie... She continues to build and fluctuate between Cat 4 to a Cat 5!! And, have you seen her, she's ginormous!! Florence is not friggin around!!! Landfall here currently expected tomorrow eve/Fri am. 'May all beings be safe!'

I would so like to tell you that people are being respectful, helpful, supportive of neighbors, elders and giving care to familiars of all breeds... But, that is not what I've experienced. Most people are rude, swiping water out of other peoples baskets, cussing someone out over a bag of Lays potato chips... Cutting people off to get to the gas gouging that was expected, if you can find gas at all. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! It makes me ill.

I ask for, receive and send calming and peace to all in the path! She is gonna be talked about, compared to, for years... We have safe shelter and are making that transition. Blessed be luvs!
