New here but freaked out over this pic on my c

got it..... I see where ya said it was deleted....did it show up immediately or did you notice it later...
Immediately -I wanted to see how the mantel looked -I kept trying to explain it away like some glitch but nothing in the room would have looked like that

that is strange, have you tried to recreate it ?. take a few more pics there and elsewhere in the room and house and see if anything else strange shows up. if not then just write it off as a glitch

Still unclear to me which photo was taken first, the mantel or the other image? Are there time stamps on the photos to show when each was taken, and what the time difference between them was?

Mantel pic taken, only one shot, went back to look and last shot shows freaky one-I didn’t take more pics after the mantel that’s why I couldn’t make sense of it

Yes, I got all that. What I'm asking is there data (time/date stamp?) to show quantitatively the elapsed time between the two images? To further develop a time line, what was the elapsed time between you taking the mantel photo, looking at it, then seeing the unknown image?

11:56 am was mantel shot. Since I deleted image can’t see exact time but I checked the pic within seconds bc I wanted to make sure I was happy with it. I would say there was a 5-10 second time lapse between shooting then checking

iPhone camera shutters can be pretty touchy. I’m a regular content creator on YouTube (I film with an iPhone SE or my iPad mini 4) and when filming I might think I was recording but my iPhone thought I double tapped so I’m talking when I wasn’t recording. The shutter and volume rocker button can be touchy too so if these pictures were taken 5-10 seconds apart, it could have been a glitch or you grazed the shutter or volume button. It happens. I’ve found that in the past 3 iOS updates have been a bit buggy.

But the bigger issue is how can we identify what is in this picture. Does this resemble anything that’s in the room where you took the picture of the mantle? Even with the posibility of this being a technical issue it’s still strange that we don’t know what the picture is.

It looks like a close up picture of a painting. The picture looks like a poodle dog's face, shoulder and left front leg to me.
