Frequently see moving stars

Hello PF, near Austin Texas I frequently see moving "stars". I call them stars because they are star like points of light. I have been seeing them in my area for at least 10 years. Me and my mom saw 2 on separate occasion in the same spot and time when I was going to school one morning many years ago.

Since then I have seen it many times. My wife has seen it too without me. My friend saw a ufo in the same area as well independently.

Further I looked into sightings in my area and there was a sighting in my suburb in the 40's by a air force general as a child and the smartest people in town came out and all agreed they were not prop aircraft. Interesting that 80 years ago people were seeing the same things I have.

I have my one UFO sighting sticky tagged above here, HJ. Otherwise, I sometimes see things out here in the country that may be of question, but nothing since that time I can state would be a UFO.

Are you familiar the "SkyView" app? It's free, and allows you to point your device at the sky to identify galaxies, stars, constellations, planets, and satellites passing overhead at your location. If what you are seeing are satellites, the app will be able to identify them. If nothing else it will allow you to accurately define the location of the "moving stars" you are seeing for reporting purposes.

One other thing you might be seeing is one (or more) of the Project Loon balloons sponsored by Google. They are equipped with very powerful strobes per FARs. I've seen these on a couple occasions and they can be spectacular from the ground if the cloud cover and winds are right.

I have seen the ISS fly over head and I've never seen a balloon or satellite move forwards, backwards, wiggle back a forth, 90 degree turns on a dot, or do circles.

The ones I saw with my mom were reported in mass and debunked as "ice crystals in the atmosphere reflecting light."

I have my doubts! They did get something right because it is obviously reflecting light. I believe that's why we don't always see ufos in the sky. It takes a certain angle for the sun's light to reflect back at us at the right angle to even be able to see them. Almost all my sightings are between 4am and 6am though not always.

One of our esteemed members, Roswell Ray-guns, once remarked, "There are lots of blinky things in the night sky."
I took his comment to heart, because one night I was convinced I was watching a UFO. It was a small mylar birthday party balloon with a string on it returning to the ground. I found out because it landed 50 feet away from me.
But by a trick of the light, it seemed miles away and moved rapidly and erratically.

Years ago I had a close encounter of the 3rd kind as well as multiple "Nocturnal Lights" (Close encounter - Wikipedia). I wrote my experience with the lights on a MUFON report but neglected the ground contact because my intuition told me not to. I ended up getting a phone call about a week later from an older sounding man asking me where I was, then, and now, but nothing about the experience itself. This struck me as strange.

LONG DESCRIPTION OF SIGHTING REPORT

The Loon balloons will, and I have seen, do all those things. Their steering is done by varying altitude to catch differences in wind speed/direction. The position of the strobe relative to the body and/or clouds can also change ground perspectives as well. My first impression was it appeared like a big butterfly with an unsynchronized flashlight flittering around at altitude. They will not go from horizon to horizon in the blink of an eye, however. So if your star is moving at very high speed, it's not a Loon.

I first saw a Loon last fall, it was startling to say the least. It took me a couple weeks to figure out what it was, and included talks with one of the FAA Tech Centers. I later talked at length with Peter Davenport at the NUFORC to advise him of the Loons, but he was at best skeptical. A month or so after our conversation, he acknowledged the balloons as the cause of a number of sighting reports during one of his weekly C2C segments. My "thank you" card must gotten lost in the mail.

While Loon balloons may explain others sightings, I totally believe in my heart that the 2 and a half hours of crafts skipping around the sky were not balloons. I literally saw a parallel shooting star that these 2 stars appeared in the sky. Other shot massive distances in the sky like they were flicked by a giant finger. They were multiple colors as well.

We had contact with a shape shifter on the ground that infiltrated our camp, then 2 white orbs starting doing circles over head. One shot over the horizon N NW, towards austin, disappeared over the horizon for a few minutes then came flying straight back towards us. About that time a orange light flying MUCH slower made it's way across the sky perfectly straight. The 2 white orbs moving much faster moved towards the orange orb and when they reached it, the made 2 90 degree turns creating a square [ ]. The 2 white orbs were heading directly towards one another and rather than just go around each other they both made 2 perfectly parallel 90 degree turns to create a box from their flight path. Around this time these "shooting stars" started appearing. Only instead of going away, they were going in, and then a new white orb would be moving around quickly. Another "Star" I had seen fly S SW to N NW then hover in place for over 6 hours. I got that on film. I watched it fly across the sky then start flaring. Getting very bright then very dim. Sometimes so bright you could see it through the clouds!

None of the other lights could be captured on my phone's video it was just 100% black.
Here is that video if anyone is curious. It's just a hovering light sadly but I swear to all of you I saw this light fly across the sky then hover there from 4am until we left at 10am, IT WAS STILL UP THERE. Anyone who had woken up around that time would automatically assume it is a star. This phenomenon is very common. We are very high energy in this video because the entire night we had been being stalked by the shape shifter which is why at this point in the night we all were staying within visual sight of one another.

On june 18th 2018 the day President Trump said he would create the "Space force marines" ( Trump to establish space force as sixth military branch ), I first saw and then I got my wife and my mother in law to come and see, we saw a armada of lights in the sky. We counted 15 lights, that at one point all aligned themselves into a column/line. Dont think balloons are capable of organizing themselves in mass in the atmosphere to create formations and then get out of formation then get back in perfect formation. I even made a post on reddit about it.

Sky viewer is particularygood.

Satelites looks exactly like moving stars, don't forget as well some aircraft/drones can looks like moving stars with a non-blinking solid light.

It's easy to mistake man made things for ET craft. I'm not saying what you're seeing is easily explainable but if you're seeing it on a regular nightly basis that seems very unlikely to be ET to me.
