lol I am used to visits. My coping mechanism is to try to ignore whats causing me fear. Having lived in SF a crazy city helped those skills lol...Huh?Just teasing - if I was scared, there's no way I could turn over and go back to sleep!

Look in the obituaries for recent deaths that describe the person you saw. If and when you think you have the correct identity go back to the spirit box and call his name. I have heard these people who die to soon have a message they want to give ones they love. Not saying I am into this idea but if what you say is true then you have to finish what you started.
From what i understand with this sort of thing (mediums do) the message you get from this spirit you will most likely be driven to give to his or her family.

Ghost of children can be tricky bc sometimes negative entities will portray themselves as such to gain trust from the living then revert back to their "original or actual" form so to speak once that trust is gained & you welcome or accept them as being harmless & drop your guard. Please always make sure you are protected. They can be sneaky boogers trust me. Some of the other members have posted prayers & grounding along with it is never a bad thing.
But if it is actually a ghost child a lot of times when children die they are basically lost & don't realize that they have passed over, especially if their death was sudden or traumatic. So they are confused and may appear to be emotionless bc their basically in a state of shock. And so they are looking for someone or something familiar to them (parent, sibling, pet, toy?) And will reach out for a form of comfort if they feel a connection to a person or object.

Seeing him as emotionless could be caused by several things. Common belief is that of how you were in life you also are in death. (I don't like this term especially when talking about children but I honestly don't mean it in a negative way.) In our living world emotionless people are considered psychopaths meaning they don't have or don't display emotions. Although I know there are children who are born this way I really doubt their common place. I would rather lean to the side that the child either suffered some form of ill effect in their life that caused the reaction. (autism, complications during pregnancy, drug use during pregnancy etc.) or that they are just so new to the spirit world that they haven't learned how to focus the energy to show emotion.
And as someone else posted using a spirit/ghost box is still opening a doorway. Anytime you use anything to try & communicate with spirits you create an opening to whatever is on the other side. So you want to be careful doing these things bc once they are open they aren't always easy or able to be shut.
