How about the pens we carry. One company I have been buying from lately is Karas Kustoms . They are a US company in Mesa, Arizona. They have several pen options, and continue to expand their line.

They have a pen specifically designed for EDC called their Karas Kustoms EDK Pen . I'll let you read all about it at their site, and then let us know what you think!

I got the ZT 0100 BLK tactical pen when it was in production last year. Bought it because it’s the toughest pen you can get without looking too menacing. No moving parts like a clicker pen so it won’t fail on me.

Nice looking pen. Yes, the Rite in the Rain cartridges are great, just like the Fishers.

They’re both fantastic pen cartridges. But rite in the rain in my experience is way better

I carry around a gym bag. Lots of first aid gear. I'm like the modern-day Les Nessman.

Okay, I'll try to start this off...

As with any EDC, mine changes all the time. Since I collect most of the items I carry, I rotate different items in and out frequently while keeping it basically the same type of gadget.

Phone - Alcatel Fierce for emergencies only.

Wallet - Minimalist card wallet for front pocket carry from Popov Leather.

Notebook - I always carry Field Notes, also in a Popov Leather product.

Pen - I usually use fountain pens, but they are not always practical for EDC. If I use a ballpoint, it is almost always a Fisher Space Pen. This is the Zero Gravity model.

Watch - Again, this varies with my collection. Here is my Breitling Avenger II Seawolf.

Flashlight - Almost always a Mag-Lite. Here is the Mini Mag.

Knife - Always varies, most often a Kershaw or Benchmade. This is my favorite, the Adamas.

Gun - Varies. Springfield, Smith, Beretta, etc., but my favorite two are Kimbers - Ultra Carry II with Crimson Trace, and Micro 9 with Crimson Trace.

Hey, I want Lynne to make me a carpet bag in which to EDC my stuff. Then after a good strong blessing ritual, that bag and I can take on the role of Felix the Cat.

That just made me think that Felix’s power was that he could apport anything into that bag of his. Ummm, he’s a more mystical animated character than I’d previously suspected.

Do you have extra deep pockets in your pants? Do you wear one of those ghost hunting vests with the many dozen pockets? Or, are you Batman?

I know for certain that if I carried even half of those items in my pant pockets I'd need to add suspenders to the belt I already wear. What is the secret?
