Peculiar knocking and school bell sounds

Someone may have asked this but can you give me the layout of your house? Like how many floors? A basement? Also the bell sound with some hearing it some not could be because of the frequency at which the bell sounded. Some people pick up well on different frequencies etc. I believe I can non-paranormally explain the knocks as well.

Hunter, good point about the frequency. From hearing tests, I have learned that I can hear higher frequencies better than the average human; and, at the same time, I have a diminished ability to hear lower frequency tones.

As far as the knocking...was there a sequence? Did you happen to count the knocks? I'm asking because if there was three knocks or a sequence of three...this could possibly go into something else.

Heather, do you mind elaborating? I ask because you might be able to add some independent support to a family event from 75 years ago.

I’ll be glad to share the event after your response whether they are or are not related. Just didn’t want to accidentally taint your response with points of my story.

Thank you.

WANDS, hunterchris answered that question for me before I got to it. This relates to demonic activity/mocking of the trinity - like he already explained.

Thank you both for your answers. They are not (necessarily) supportive of my family event. But I’ll share.

Both of my Grandfathers, my Uncle (by marriage), and my Dad served in the military during WW2. My Mom and Aunt lived with my Grandmother during that time. As my Grandmother and Mom both used to tell the story:

Late one night when the three of them and my youngest Uncle were home, there came a short rhythmic knock at the front door. My Grandmother answered but there was no one there. The same thing happened a second and then a third time that same night. My Grandmother announced it was an omen of coming bad news.

The next day a neighbor was over and they were recounting the prior night’s events. Apparently the front door was open at that time and one more round of knocking occurred. Later that same day the mailman delivered letters indicating that both my maternal Grandfather and my Dad were officially Missing In Action (MIA).

Ultimately my Grandfather was determined to be in recovering in a hospital. And he ended up finding my Dad in the same hospital. So the best news is that both were reunited with the rest of the family. (And, we won the war too.)

I guess it all depends on your philosophical bend. In my studies it takes a ton of energy to make a knock. Sometimes its wood settling. Sometimes its not. I wouldn't be to worried about a knock though.

I'm going to jump in here with another example of a non-demonic knock. My father suffered from cancer and lost his voicebox later in life. He moved into the adjoining bedroom next to mom to sleep at night as he was very restless. When he would get into trouble medically, he would knock 3 times on the wall to get mom's attention to come and help him.

Before he died, he told mom that when he crossed, he would let her know he was alright by knocking on that wall. On the third night after his death, as we all sat there in the house, 3 very loud knocks rang out from that bedroom. Never happened again, but that night we knew dad was OK.

Sweet.
