I have never posted on a site like this before but wanted to check with you folks (get opinions etc) about some events that recently occured. Yesterday I was at a family gathering It was a small gathering, only 4 of use. I’ll skip all the impertinent details and get to the point. As the 4 of us are in casual conversation, while talking and preparing food all of sudden there was a peculiar knocking sound. This sound lasted for about 5 or 6 seconds and was very easy for everyone to hear. Within the span of about 2 seconds I thought maybe someone was knocking on the front door but quickly realized this was not someone knocking on a door. I can’t explain the sound in words but is was clear that is was not someone knocking on a door. Within about 3 seconds I looked at everyone else in the room, including the person that lived in the house and the look on his face was one of complete confusion. It was easy see that no one knew what the heck this sound was and it was quickly brushed off as being the cats, which was total BS as I could see both of them. The cats were nowhere near the direction of this sound. Anyway, a while later (an hour or so) I was in the bathroom and there was the distinct sound of a school bell. I came out and asked everyone what was that school bell sound? Was it from one your phones? No one heard the bell sound but me. Everyone checked their phones etc. no explanation. I didn’t say anything else about it. Then, about another hour or so later, as two of the people were at the front door saying goodbyes and whatnot the school bell sound started again. It was at this moment I interrupted everyone by loudly saying (do you hear that! There it is again!, The school bell!) Two of the others still did not hear but one of them did. I could tell she heard it too but she didn’t want to chime in as things seemed too bizarre and she probably didn’t want to be labeled is being wacky. Does anyone have any opinion about something like this?
