I don’t know if it was meant to be an atheism thing but it does bring up a sobering point about humanity. We follow an unknowable god (some of us anyway) and we destroy his creation. Nature is basically our last link to God in more ways than one.

coming from a physicist it probably was an atheist point of view.....but there are many forms of enlightenment...and hope for every body, even physicists....lol
