"So this is pretty interesting and its buzzing around some of the Art Bell/C2C forums. I heard about it in one of my top secret Art show trading groups. But, recently, Art, and some of his HAM radio buddy's admitted that some of the more famous callers on the show, such as JC Webster, The Area 51 caller, Mel Waters, pretty much all the strange recurring callers you can name, were Arts ham radio friends and they would plan out the calls and characters before hand. Some people seem up in arms about it, but it does not bother me much, as I always thought a lot of those callers were kind of staged anyways."

I thought some might have been fake callers but I didn’t think Art was behind it. I can’t believe this unless Art himself comes foreword.

I know Art and wouldn't put it past him to create characters for a call in program.
He was and still is a master showman. Coast to Coast is the Barnum and Bailey Circus... and will eventually fade away when people grow tired of Coast, traditional radio, or Noory.

If true, ALL Art's credibility is down the drain. We really were taken for a ride:mad::(!

Well, I never believed JC and a big bunch of callers. But man-o-man it was fun.:)
What I really can't stand is some of the current recurrent caller's on Coast to Coast. The old man from New Jersey who only asks one question. But it has a big long meandering build up. And when he finally gets to his pointless point, he restates it three times, in three different ways.
Relevant radio has the same problem. His name is John from Chicago. With all the new hosts lately, he has ruined several segments and carried over after commercials. He is RR's FEG. But he ain't punking.
One day John called into a kindly old priest who was on to him. It was the beginning of the segment. The priest said "Oh I hear the music" (bumper music playing), "we are up against a hard break get to your point."
John: Can I get married on Easter morning in the church ?
Priest: Never done, but technically, yes. But first I have some homework for you. Go to your dictionary and look up the word 'ostracize '

Ugh, it's so hard to parse this stuff out. I kinda feel like that sometimes with Bigfoot podcasts I listen to. Like, really? THAT happened to you?

Sometimes the line gets blurred when content creators are trying to sell stuff, entertain, and provide genuine paranormal experiences to the table. Enter, any show on cable. People won't watch it unless something ALMOST happens.. but those moments are just totally staged and exaggerated.

Lol I would have thought more than just a few of arts callers were fakes. Hahahaha ever listened to some of the calls. My lord. One of them literally described their life as a halo game I was playing while listening. I almost pooped myself laughing at that one.
